I was expecting more tips about the fathering side of things as the title implies but he basically just says "always put the kids first", well Duh! Most of the book is just him ragging on his wife and telling you about his specific divorce situation. Definitely not recommendable.

I'm not giving this book all of the credit, because I've done a lot of healing on my own through therapy, reflection, and time, but this book helped bundle a lot of what I had learned in a more clear manner. I suffer from a mental breakdown which started 3-year long major depressive event that further opened cracks in my 20 year marriage leading to a divorce and kids moving out of state. There was a whole lot of pain, regret, guilt, and hopelessness there, but I made it through and have learned to reshape my narrative and see what I first thought of as huge gaps as gains.

My biggest critique would be the interviews at the end of each chapter. I understand that Dan Sullivan deserves credit for the core ideas here, but Ben really delivers it in a digestible manner, while Dan has a less professional sounding mannerisms and his stories seemed to often meander off track and have little relevance to the questions posed to him.

I'm a 1/3rd of the way through this awful book and the author has yet to provide a single helpful key. He wants so badly to be a novelist that there is the most contrived storyline about characters that could not be more stereotypical and basic. Like a bad car wreck, I've been hanging on to this book in horrid wonder of how anyone, yet alone the thousands of people, could have given this a 5-star review. The author forces historic quotes into the conversations of these people as if he has never actually had a real conversation in his life. I hate to leave a review without finishing a book, but I just don't want to waste any more of my life on this book. If you can't get to the point in 3 hours, I'm going to assume you don't have one!

Read this with a new men's group I had just joined. You know your life is in shambles when listening to an audiobook is the highlight of each week. It has allowed me to focus on what matters, reset priorities, and grow in strength.

My wife and I both have ADHD, but mine is the highest. Mine doesn't display in being late or irresponsible and the book just kept droning on and on that the ADHD spouse basically can't be relied on, but they're not a bad person, just different. It was a good read, but not very scientific and ultimately it was loaded with a lot of excuses for the ADHD spouse and put most of the responsibility on non-ADHD spouse to except that that's who they are and you just have to deal with it.

This book goes into great detail about the specific real life relationships between Adam (Realtor/CEO) and his executive assistant, Hallie. Both take turns sharing a behind the scenes view of how one makes the other successful. The book is direct and to the point without pointless stories or common sense basics.

I have an average understanding of computers and enjoyed statistics class in college and I found the book to be very enjoyable. We all use this on a daily basis without giving it a thought. I'm an analytic thinker and it made me think even deeper. Not for everyone, but I enjoyed it a lot

Author does nothing to foster skills in how to actually position yourself as a hyper local agebt, just does a blow by blow one deal to the next and is extremely boring.
