Historia
Nashville 1964. Eighteen-year-old babysitter Paula Herring is murdered in her home while her six-year-old brother apparently sleeps through the grisly event. A few months later, a judge's son is convicted of the crime. Decades after the slaying, Michael Bishop, a private citizen, stumbles upon a secret file related to the case and with the help of some of the world's top forensic experts - including forensic psychologist Richard Walter (aka "the living Sherlock Holmes") - he uncovers the truth. What really happened is completely different from what the public was led to believe.

A great Nashville historical murder mystery. Love the authors style and journey. Definitely recommending, especially living around the area in interest.

Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Must read…no must listen

If a nominal book with a great story message. However, the thing that makes this audiobook stick out above the rest is the amazing combination of podcast meets audiobook.

Historia
One phone call is all it takes to lure real estate photographer Mallory Aldiss back to her family Rhode Island beach home. It's been 20 years since she's been gone - running from the scandal that destroyed her parents' marriage, drove her and her two sisters apart, and crushed her relationship with her first love. But going home is fraught with emotional baggage - memories, mysteries, and secrets abound. Mal's 13-year-old daughter, Joy, has never been to the place where Mal's life was shaped and is desperate to go.

Historia
Too many workplaces are driven by cynicism, paranoia, and self-interest. But the best ones foster trust and cooperation because their leaders build what Sinek calls a "Circle of Safety" that separates the security inside the team from the challenges outside. Sinek illustrates his ideas with fascinating true stories that range from the military to big business, from government to investment banking.

Great for Facts not for Development
Revisado: 01-06-22
This book, Leaders Eat Last, is A well written book however it is centred around more factual data points and explanations how we have come to our current “norms”. However, it does not aid and any leader who is looking to adjust and or implement a new leadership style. Instead you are told what others did…ish and then why that wouldn’t work now.
Again though, interesting facts but not a developmental book.

Historia
There are few things Jeremy Marsh was sure he'd never do: He'd never leave New York City; never give his heart away again after barely surviving one failed marriage; and most of all, never become a parent. Now, Jeremy is living in the tiny town of Boone Creek, North Carolina, married to Lexie Darnell, the love of his life, and anticipating the birth of their daughter. But just as his life seems to be settling into a blissful pattern, an unsettling and mysterious message re-opens old wounds.

Didn’t see that one coming
Revisado: 01-21-20
I like to listen to audiobooks while at work to drown out the office background annoyance. Both this book and the first one were great to listen to. I do have to say I didn’t pay attention to some parts due to them being a bit boring but overall this book is worth listening to. I can definitely see a movie made out of these.
Be prepared to want to cry. I didn’t see the twist that was coming and it definitely stopped me in my step s when it did.

This book was amazing to listen too. I think that it started slow but once the story got going I was hooked. At some points I couldn't stop listening to it so I stayed up way too late but it was worth it. Very good read! I have recommended this book to many people.
