Very boring
Revisado: 06-25-24
I'm normally a fan of this author but found this very boring. As usual Kevin Pierce did a fantastic job at narraton, which is the only reason I even finished the book

Against Catholics
Revisado: 06-02-17
Normally I love what this author writes, but this I found offensive. It's one thing to not agree with a religion, it's another to downright place them in cahoots with the devil.

Wonderful book and a Must read!
Revisado: 12-18-15
I loved this book and was aghast when I realized I hadn't posted a review here. This was so enjoyable to read, and so different than any other SHTF scenario. I've been hoping T.C would write additional books, but I've only found this one. This is definitely a pearl in the huge ocean of the apocalyptic genre. Please write more!!!!

Can't wait for the next book since I'm already hooked!!!
Revisado: 08-10-15
Great book and with my favorite narrator telling the story, it really MADE the book! Everything I've read that Kevin narrates has been great, so I am really really hoping the author had him narrate the next one for Whispersync! Characters were well developed and I was really sad to realize the book was finished and book isn't out yet!

Loved the book and was SO happy to see both books on whisper sync so I could listen to them! Otherwise I just don't have the time, so the drive to, and from is way more enjoyable.

Couldn't listen to more than a couple chapters
Revisado: 01-31-15
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
HORROR A BLE I know that's not spelled right, but that is how bad it was to me. I'm not sure if the narrators acting wase why I disliked it so much, but I couldn't listen to much before having to turn it off. I really wanted to like the book since I love the genre and read the first book. After the same girls (that whine about everything and are so clueless I want to wring their necks) continue to be just as helpless and dumb in the second book, I just had to forget reading any more in this series. Like I said, maybe the narrator was the problem, and if I would have read the book, it wouldn't have been so terrible. I did though, and still can't get their annoying voices out of my head to even think of trying that. That being said, both authors have a lot of talent and I give any writer a ton of credit for writing a book. Negative reviews can be difficult if they put their heart and soul into the book, and I don't usually write negative reviews. Authors, that are good, always grow and improve, so I do hope to enjoy a book by either or both of them in the future.
Would you ever listen to anything by Lindsey Fairleigh and Lindsey Pogue again?
I'm not sure. Maybe if they change the narrator.
Would you be willing to try another one of Natalie Duke’s performances?
Never in a million years
Any additional comments?
I listen to a LOT of audio books since I don't have much time to actually sit and read a book, so I've heard a lot of narrators. Some are really terrible I wonder why the author(s) chose them to be the voice of the their book, and others just MAKE the book. PLEASE get a different narrator.
