Historia
When the neighbours in question are the proud empires of Klatch and Ankh-Morpork, those are going to be some pretty large garden tools indeed. Of course, no-one would dream of starting a war without a perfectly good reason...such as a 'strategic' piece of old rock in the middle of nowhere. It is after all every citizen's right to bear arms to defend their own. Even if it isn't technically their own. And even if they don't have much in the way of actual weaponry.

Amazing Story and Voce Work!
Revisado: 01-10-24
Terry Pratchett is the greatest writer ever! Everything in this story is amazing! I don't understand what people have said about the voice actor not being great, he has narrated all the other City Watch books and is fantastic!

Don't buy if you loved the comic
Revisado: 02-11-23
if you are a fan of the original comic this book does probably the worst job ever of bringing it to life. excluding key members of the team like Wolverine and Sentry, to forgetting Daredevil was even there. This book even includes new plot points that just clutter the story and made me cringe. The voices got Tony and Peter were fine, but the ones they used for Captain America and Luke Cage sounded like they were sucking on helium before every take, lacking the power these characters normally have. I was struggling to finish this book, I did it out of spite just so I could review it. I bought this book on sale for $2 and it was way too expensive.

Historia
Demons. Monsters. Witches. James Crowley’s sacred duty as a Black Badge is to hunt them down and send them packing, banish them from the mortal realm for good. He didn’t choose this life. No. He didn’t choose life at all. Shot dead in a gunfight many years ago, now he’s stuck in purgatory, serving the whims of the White Throne to avoid falling to Hell. Not quite undead, though not alive either, the best he can hope for is to work off his penance and fade away.

Great world building, but falls to common tropes
Revisado: 06-23-22
I highly enjoyed this story, but like a lot of modern stories it paints Heaven and Hell as almost the same things with Angels being just as bad, if not worse, that demons. The story also gets some folklore wrong especially about skinwalkers, but the angel part really bugs me. However, I loved the whole concept of the story with what black badges do and their powers, and the narrator of the story is absolutely fantastic! super smooth and great at giving different voices to different characters! Good listen, but don't expect much

Historia
Iron Man and Captain America are two core members of the Avengers, the world's greatest superhero team. But when a tragic battle blows a hole in the city of Stamford, killing hundreds of people, the US government demands that all superheroes unmask and register their powers. To Tony Stark - Iron Man - it's a regrettable but necessary step. To Captain America, it's an unbearable assault on civil liberties.

Not for the Comic fan
Revisado: 12-18-20
Truely Disappointing. Took out several key characters, added irrelevant ones, have lines to the wrong side, and took epic moments and watered then down to nothing. The voice cast was amazing, but if you are a fan of the original Civil War comic, stay far away.
