Decades of self-help volumes have said here's the answer; do what we say and It All Gets Better. And while what they suggest may be right for some people, it's never right for everyone. If you're tired of authors telling you what to do, be, or have without taking into account who you are to begin with, this is your book. Clean Out Your LifeCloset encourages you to write your own story of change based on your history, your life experiences, and your personal goals.

Historia
Conor Night, the world's only necromancer, is starting to think that his life is finally coming together. His last job not only left him funded, but also helped him fall off the radar of the world's two most powerful wizards. Of course, being a necromancer always has its downsides, and when he's forced into a job that will leave the Houses on the brink of all-out war, he begins to realize just how down those sides can be. He thinks he understands the rules in the world of ghosts and magic. Unfortunately for him, the rules are about to change.

Be Lifted to Moscow:1991 as seen by teenage Marina

What did you like best about this story?
The feeling of Being There.
What about Gary Roelofs’s performance did you like?
He let the characters color his words without funny-voices or accents getting in the way.

Deception and intrigue at the Arctic Circle's edge
Revisado: 03-26-15
Fun escapism, in a land so far north, that it makes me feel warm, here in syracuse, NY, USA snow belt.
The new Russia is full of money and people eager to get their hands on it, especially if they can just steal it. Our protagonist is a bodyguard who stands between honest businessmaen and people trying to bend the system.
Jack de Golia, the narrator does a Great job of bringing both the bleak north and the bustling city to life. His vocalizations for the characters are distinct and easy to follow.
I hope that the author and the narrator can work together on the next one in the series… I look forward to it.

Firebird was a fun short listen. It's about an hour long and if you need it to entrance your own kids for about that amount of time it's very nice. :-)
Journey with two Russian-American kids into a slice of their own heritage, perhaps next time the kids will remember the instructions from their mysterious aunt...

Any additional comments?
"The book's main theme is "If it's a traditional food (with millennia of human use) that can also be supported as healthy by modern Peer-reviewed research (verify it with science!) then let's eat it and be happy and healthy!"
I don't think I should _review_ my own narration, but I did want to remind buyers that when you buy this audiobook, there is also a link to an included PDF on the Audible page with Delicious Recipes, Research Citations, and Tables.

Historia
Forced to make love to beautiful women, this is adult science fiction at its best. The Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece and Rome had returned to Earth - with all their awesome powers intact, and Earth was transformed almost overnight. War on any scale was outlawed, along with boom-and-bust economic cycles, and prudery - no change was more startling than the face of New York, where, for instance, the Empire State Building became the Tower of Zeus!

Return of The GODS speculative-fiction romp:
Revisado: 10-09-14
What did you like best about this story?
The wide ranging changes brought about by the return of the classical gods, the collision of modern thinking and religious facts, the fun and confusion from all the what-if.
What about Larry Oliver’s performance did you like?
The wry sense of humor that he conveyed for certain scenes. When the protagonist was bewildered and confused by turns of events, you could almost _feel_ the character floundering and then regaining his mental feet.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I enjoyed listening to this in segments, like it was a serialized radio play.

Every great drink starts with a plant. Sake began with a grain of rice. Scotch emerged from barley. Gin was born from a conifer shrub when medieval physicians boiled juniper berries with wine to treat stomach pain. The Drunken Botanist uncovers the surprising botanical history and fascinating science and chemistry of over 150 plants, flowers, trees, and fruits (and even a few fungi).

Love the information and story, vocals OK .
Revisado: 01-30-14
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
The sweep of the information in this book was wonderful to me, but I might suggest a book or eBook format if you are not a fan of Coleen Marlo's style.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Drunken Botanist?
The sweep of possibilities in the alcoholic extractions from around the world, a blend of long history and endless combinations and permutations.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The narrator was clear enough, but her style was not for me to love.... just like.
