Beautiful story with ups and downs
Revisado: 12-30-23
Love the storyline as it hits close to home. Well narrated as all the books in the series have been.

Historia
Always the dutiful daughter, Lady Joselyn is weeks away from marrying a rival lord in order to save her house. However, she suddenly finds herself in the clutches of an ancient beast she’s only ever heard of in legends. More terrifying than that is the beast’s master, a wild man who insists Joselyn is his bride by right, and plans to seal his claim in blood. Dragon-rider Hollen has finally captured the woman of his dreams, though he quickly learns waiting for her was less than half the battle.

Slow to gain momentum in the story
Revisado: 12-24-22
It was a little slow to gain momentum and the female lead is a little hard to like at first, but her character grows and becomes more likable.

Innes Munro has the ability to "read" a person's past simply by touching them, but her gift comes with a heavy price: her freedom. Forced to stay at desolate Castle Girnigoe, Innes never expects to be drawn to the wounded warrior who haunts its dark passages and challenges her at every turn.

Favorite one of the series!
Revisado: 09-30-21
This storyline flowed so much smoother than the first book! I also enjoyed how their relationship built over time.

He didn't expect the sharp-tongued beauty to run away on their wedding night. Still, Alexander wants his runaway bride...and he has the sneaking suspicion that she wants him, too.

Decent storyline
Revisado: 09-29-21
I did like the story. It was hard to follow the storylines jumping around. A new chapter or some sort of way to paise between to identify a shift in storyline place would help.
