The story was a little hard to follow occasionally. Didn’t completely represent how things go IRL from what I’ve been told elsewhere.
Sounded like it was read by Zapp Brannigan.

What would have made The Way of the SEAL better?

The book is very much on the side of meditation and yoga, with the whole 'mind gym'.

Has The Way of the SEAL turned you off from other books in this genre?

No.

Would you be willing to try another one of John Pruden’s performances?

The narrator was fine so yes.

What character would you cut from The Way of the SEAL?

For some people this may be very beneficial but for me the whole meditation thing just isn't a thing that works for me.

Would you consider the audio edition of Extreme Ownership to be better than the print version?

I do not know as I did not buy the print version.

What did you like best about this story?

The authors define the principles and give examples of their use on the battlefield and then in business. This book and it's content is life changing.

Have you listened to any of Jocko Willink and Leif Babin ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No this was my first experience with material from these authors. And it will not be my last.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Extreme Ownership?

There is no 'I' in team, but there should be. How can I do better to support the team? How can I increase performance to further the mission of the team? What processes can I develop or improve on to make the team more effective in the battle space to accomplish the mission? How can I give other teams what they need to succeed, so that all our teams can do better?

What would have made The Snowball better?

I couldn't get past the first 90 seconds just due to the narrator. If that first 90 seconds is anything like the rest of the book you will spend 70%+ of the listening time learning about Warrens clothes and bushy eyebrows.

What didn’t you like about Kirsten Potter’s performance?

Her voice and her obvious almost intention exhale and sharp inhale at the end of every sentence or punctuation mark.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Snowball?

Since I only listened to the first 90 seconds I don't know but there is way too much description about Warrens jacket and shirt and eyebrows.

The perfect book for a 6th grader

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

This is such a high level overview it would suit a 6-8th grader or someone that has absolutely no common sense about real estate at all.

The Real Book of Real Estate by Robert Kiyosaki

How could the performance have been better?

Recording quality needs to be better and have better editing and sound processing.

If you have a child that wants to get in to real estate investing this is a great book for them to start with.
