Singing bowls do not belong in Nidra!

I love Yoga Nidra and find that in order for it to be effective for me, it highly depends on the person's tone of voice and technique. She has a lovely voice and the technique was working until she scared me half to death before it was over. For anyone struggling with anxiety, endocrine or nervous system disorders, PTSD, or heart problems, I do NOT recommend this particular exercise. All of the stress relief and relaxation up until that point was completely undone the moment she rang the bowl. The proper way to bring someone out of Yoga Nidra is very gently, bringing their awareness back with gradual steps. To abruptly shock them out of it can be very damaging or traumatic, defeating the entire purpose. This one would not make a good introduction to Yoga Nidra for a beginner.
