Where do I even begin? Constanza Casati has a remarkable talent for storytelling, weaving a tale that is both powerful and unforgettable. This novel has truly left a lasting impact on me. It is a story of power and ambition, of fear and courage, of love and resilience. It reminds me of those who seize their destiny and those who are shaped by it. This will forever be one of my favorite books, one I will cherish for as long as I can. I eagerly await Casati’s next masterpiece and the excitement it is sure to bring.

Shakespeare Would Be Proud

Ava Reid really did her thing with this one! A Shakespearean retelling like no other. A marvelous read—one that envelops you and transports you into the story’s universe. Roscille is a strong woman who uses other strategic methods to devise plans and take control instead of using brute force; she is clever—a woman who thrives in a male dominated society. I really enjoyed this novel. It was just what I needed.

“A tale from a different perspective”

I’ll say this…As a Christian reading this tale was a little taboo for me but once I got into the story, I could really empathize with the story’s character of Jezebel not the real Jezebel we all know from the Bible. All she wanted is to be remembered throughout history after she had gone from the world. It’s interesting to know a story from a different perspective because none of were alive back then. I think the main theme of this book is telling us what goes on in a world dominated by men. Back then women weren’t seen as rulers and thus only seen as heir bearers. I think women deserve the right to rule as much as men, however, yes by tradition a man’s name should be passed down to his children but that’s just my opinion. Overall, I rather enjoyed this novel and hope Megan writes another!

Action, Magic, & Love That Conquers All

First all, I have no words that can amount to the way this book made me feel! In suspense and on the edge of my seat the whole entire time. Oh Sarah J. Maas, one of our guiding lights of fantasy—you did that! This book, the amount of color, the amount of heartache, the amount of love that conquered all in the end! Yes, yes, yes! We stan Sarah J. Maas. And we stan The House of Earth 🌍 and Blood 🩸

I really enjoyed this Greek retelling. It was fresh and the ending was very different from what I imagined. I guess it goes to say that all things happen for a reason. Although we don’t know what those reasons are, we can be sure they will present themselves in the end.

Gorgeous Venezuelan Fantasy

I’ll admit this was a hard review to write, however, the way this fantasy novel reels itself in through a journey of fate, self-realization, love, belonging, magic, and adventure, I knew Gabriela Romero Lacruz’s writing had done this book its fair justice. Coming from a similar background as Lacruz, in science that is, I am very impressed with her talent and ability to craft a story so beautiful and magnificent as The Sun and The Void. Gabriela, I whole-heartedly away Book #2. This is your debut honey! Take it all for what it’s worth! #TheSunAndTheVoid
