Historia
Lily and her ex-husband, Ryle, have just settled into a civil coparenting rhythm when she suddenly bumps into her first love, Atlas, again. After nearly two years separated, she is elated that for once, time is on their side, and she immediately says yes when Atlas asks her on a date. But her excitement is quickly hampered by the knowledge that, though they are no longer married, Ryle is still very much a part of her life—and Atlas Corrigan is the one man he will hate being in his ex-wife and daughter’s life.

Brings awareness of Domestic Abuse
Revisado: 09-01-24
Colleen Hoover masterfully brings a touchy subject to the forefront: domestic abuse. She shows it through the eyes of many characters in three different situations, so that the reader better understands the various dynamics involved. An excellent sequel to It Ends with Us!

Another well written crime story
Revisado: 12-10-22
Gary Olsen has written another gripping true crime story. The first chapter is a bit of drudgery, as it describes Houston in so much detail that I felt like saying, “Ok, I’ve got it already.” However, once the obligatory description is done, the story takes off and remains strong to the end.

Captivating
Revisado: 07-23-22
Well written and authentic. Told in first person, the reader gets a bird’s eye view of the action, suspense, and complications of the plot. Couldn’t put it down.

Excellent book
Revisado: 07-21-22
I would give this book a 5 except for one thing. The author made biased political statements that clearly identified her target without using his name. This was unnecessary for her to make her points and should be removed from future editions. No need to bring politics into this discussion.

Historia
From the queen of white-knuckle suspense and searing family drama comes a harrowing glimpse into the real world behind the headlines. This is a novel of immense power and compassion - one that will move all who listen to it. Tina is a young woman hiding from her grief on the streets of the Cross. On a cold night in the middle of winter, she breaks all her own rules when she agrees to go home with a customer. What she finds in his house will change her life forever. The Boy Under the Table is gritty, shocking, moving and, ultimately, filled with hope.

Revisado: 02-15-21
This story, told through various perspectives, reaches out to readers to FEEL what each character feels. Powerfully written and deeply moving, it does exactly that! I highly recommend it.

Historia
It's 1952, and Jasper isn't allowed to ask questions or make a fuss. He's lucky to even have a home and must keep his mouth shut and his ears open to stay in his uncle's good graces. No one knows where his mother went or whether she's coming back. Desperate to see her again, he must take matters into his own hands. From the farm, he embarks on a treacherous search that will take him to the squalid hideaways of Detroit and back again, through tawdry taverns, peep shows, and gambling houses.

Suspenseful, engaging, an excellent read!
Revisado: 08-07-19
Pulley masterfully creates memorable characters, building suspense and tantalizing the reader with real clues and red herrings, so that the reader gets inside the hero’s head and stays there until the last fascinating moment. A must read! I couldn’t stop listening! Daniels does an excellent job bringing the story to life. I’ve already recommended this book to others!
