My oldest brother served in Nam but would never talk about it. He had many health complications from exposure to agent orange including open heart surgery in his early 50s and he passed before he saw his 65th birthday. This did a lot to help me understand why he never told anyone he was a vet and never sought out any “perks” given to vets. It wasn’t until after his open heart surgery that he started going to the vet hospital and only that because he couldn’t afford health care. To all vets I give my profound thanks. And to KH I say well done!

While this book is a bit predictable at times, it is a great story! Well written and enjoyable to listen to. The kind of book you want to be a true story. It feels like a true story. I am looking forward to more like it.
