Historia
It is the morning of the reaping that will kick off the 10th annual Hunger Games. In the Capitol, 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow is preparing for his one shot at glory as a mentor in the Games. The once-mighty house of Snow has fallen on hard times, its fate hanging on the slender chance that Coriolanus will be able to out charm, outwit, and outmaneuver his fellow students to mentor the winning tribute. The odds are against him. He’s been given the humiliating assignment of mentoring the female tribute from District 12, the lowest of the low.

I enjoyed this story of how Snow became the man he was. Will there be another book maybe about Tigress?

Love the story line.
Revisado: 01-10-20
I really love Claire's world of shadow hunters. I was rather surprised by the ample amount of sex scenes in these books between teenagers. I am not against sex in the least just found it abundant to the point that I fast forwarded them as the story moved on. Could ne I was just jealous. Lol

Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

1 of 3 novels I read for class
Revisado: 11-08-18
I read this book for a Women in Literature college class. It was not my favorite of the three. It is a disturbing rendition of historic events all conglomerated into one nation under a supposed god. As an American in the "Grab them by the pussy" era, I can see how a society can digress by following blow hard government officials with nothing more than greed dictating their choices. As Atwood says in her afterwords "Ask who is making money from it?" It being the political choices. I love her educated use of real happenings in history rather than making things up. Great writer!
