Historia
From Mark Greaney, the New York Times best-selling author of Mission Critical and a coauthor of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan novels, comes another high-stakes thriller featuring the world's most dangerous assassin: the Gray Man. While on a mission to Croatia, Court Gentry uncovers a human trafficking operation. The trail leads from the Balkans all the way back to Hollywood. Court is determined to shut it down, but his CIA handlers have other plans. The criminal ringleader has actionable intelligence about a potentially devastating terrorist attack on the US.

sub human content
Revisado: 05-12-21
I have enjoyed the Gray Man series and only wish there were more of them to go through. However, with this book (One Minute Out) Mr Greaney seems intent on planting subhuman sentiments in my mind, so this one is not for me.

Meditation, a journey . . .
Revisado: 06-19-20
Who was it who said, “The Journey of a thousand miles begins with one step?” Whether or not it is your first step on this journey, Dada makes it clearer, attractive and doable. The desire to understand ourselves and explore the consciousness of our own minds lies deep in each of us. In this book Dada lays out the path ahead and how to proceed.
From the book:
“First you have to find out who you are; then you will know what you need to do and have a clearer
idea of what you really want.”

Historia
This lush novel, set in 1766 England and America, evokes an era ripe with riot and revolution, from the teeming streets of London to the sprawling grounds of a Virginia plantation. Mack McAsh burns with the desire to escape his life of slavery in Scottish coal mines while Lizzie Hallim is desperate to shed a life of sheltered subjugation to her spineless husband. United in America, their only chance for freedom lies beyond the Western frontier - if they're brave enough to take it.

A good time in history
Revisado: 04-09-20
I enjoyed A Place Called Freedom, it answered some unanswered questions I had about that particular epoch. It would be nice if Follett continued that story and told of the opening up of the West.
