Good characters, story is easy to follow. Location is nice. Very hallmark-y, remodeling a bed and breakfast at the beach and having the inheritance to afford it sounds fun.

Wow. This book was so good it makes it difficult to look for another. Why isn’t this a movie?! It was full of history, a painful and drama filled life that is so very different from our own lives. The writer really is able to paint the pictures in your head to really be there in the story. The narrator does a fabulous job of reading the story with voices and accents. Very well written and makes me want to read more from the author.

Great crime mystery

The story grabbed me almost immediately and kept me interested throughout the book. I usually can figure out the plot but this one has several twists at the end that had me scaring my dog yelling at the realizations of how the story was changing. Great narration, spooky ending, really enjoyable book.

This story, the voices, all the sounds, background noise really added to this cleverly written story. It’s an easy listen that made me want to listen to the whole story in one sitting. Definitely download this book. It’s a real treat

Narration is fantastic!

The book is a great addition to the series! Can't say enough good things about the narration by Julia Motyka. Her accents are many and really help paint the story. Not all narrators can pull off accents or even try, but Julia does French to Texan with ease. Story line is good and it was nice to revisit all the characters. Dorian the sassy French gargoyle is a favorite.
