Good, but depressing

Ok, I liked the authors writing, mostly. But it was a bit soap opera-ish. The way she LOVED him no matter what, then 2 mins later hates him. And I don’t like stories where the protagonists end up getting together when they are 80 yrs old or some such nonsense. But I will read this author again. Enjoy

I so love this series. I have to wait so long for the next book. But I do understand why it would take so long to write another. I give this book and all books featuring Robin and Corm ten stars. I was a bit surprised to learn it was the Hardy Potter author. But then, she knows how to wind a great tale. # jealous
But I tried to find any way to leave a comment thru FB and others. I just wanted to ask WHY the two main characters can not get together. I have noticed this in many other books. I do not see why having them realize and act soon their attraction would take anything away from a great story. I find it frustrating. But as I said, great book, great series anyway.

David Baldacci is one of my favorites!!

This book was so good, I had a very hard time getting in with other life chores!! It may be the most enjoyable of his yet that I have read. I love that D. B. Does not go for the tragic ending. Life sucks as it is, and I read (or listen) to escape. Don't want sad endings!! The reader was a bit mono-toned but I could get past that. Some readers really ruin a story. I give it five stars!

I did not want to read this series, not into smut. But one day I had nothing to read, so I figured what the heck. Did NOT realize it was so well written, and not all about sex! But the sex part is also well written. I have rarely been so emotionally involved with characters. Hope the author is working on the next installment !!
