Historia
Beautiful as she is deadly, Liriel Baenre flits throught the shadows of Menzoberranzan, city of the dark elves. Amid treachery and murder that are the drow's daily fare, she feels something calling to her...something beyond this dusky world far removed from the sun. Yet as she ventures toward the surface and the lands of light, enemies pursue her unceasingly.

Second good series ruined by Rosenburg
Revisado: 09-29-21
I really enjoyed the story. It is a good addition to drow lore within the lore Forgotten Realms. I just wish they picked a different narrator for it. From mispronounced words to horrible tempo and very odd inflection of words, the narrator really distracted from the story. I wish they would quit using Dara Rosenberg for Forgotten Realms.

Historia
Science fiction allows us to go places we can only dream of seeing - other worlds, distant stars, entirely different galaxies. While not every story is concerned with the hard science behind space travel and other futuristic ventures, fiction can give us amazing insight into what we could be capable of and what we dream of doing. In these 10 lectures, Professor Erin Macdonald interweaves real science and the achievements of the imagination to reveal the truth that underlies our favorite stories and sheds light on what the future may hold.

Physics made fun
Revisado: 03-20-20
I didn't think I would like this book. I never took a physics course when I was in high school, but this book made me wish that I had. The book is broken down into 10 chapters that the narrator calls lectures. I actually felt that they were.
Each lecture demonstrates a theory of physics using examples from some of our favorite sci-fi films. The lectures are broken down into very digestible constructs that are easy to understand and easy to relate to our favorite stories.
The narrator is fun, quirky, and delivers the lectures in a very informative and easy to understand way. I really enjoyed this book.
