Historia
Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

This classic deserves better

One of the best stories ever written.
Revisado: 11-15-24
It's hard to really describe Dune using your typical descriptor words. Is it sci-fi, fantasy, or politics? Yeah, it is, but its something more than any of those words do it justice. Highly recommend this version to new and old fans alike. The cast is excellent, and the content itself is all time great.

So good!
Revisado: 02-20-17
Before purchasing this book I read a number of bad reviews complaining about a number of decisions the write made about the main character Drizzt. DON'T LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS! This book wowed me like no other D&D book has. It was so action packed right from the beginning, and stayed tight up until the end. This book casts Drizzt in what I say is exactly the right light. Those who complained about his character clearly did not know the source material that well, material written by the SAME writer. Highly recommend, worth the purchase.

Great follow up to Homeland.
Revisado: 02-12-17
Homeland was in my opinion, one of the best books of all time. Exile isn't QUITE that good, but it's still worth the listen. The first few hours of the book are exceptional. The Hunter is a super cool character. Slows down for the middle half, but the supporting characters are so well done that it holds you till the end.

A bit misleading.
Revisado: 10-23-16
It should have been called World Of Warcraft: Cataclysm. The book is hardly about Varian, as the title suggests. He is not introduced until around the 3-4 hour mark. Narration was a bit flat, most voices sounded the same. All in all, it's good for the lore, but not a great book in any way. Illidan was dramatically better on all regards.

I particularly liked this book because of how much light it sheds on the events of illidan's life. It also does an exceptional job at showing the listener how the trials of becoming a Demon Hunter affect each individual candidate.

Historia
When Redwall was published in 1987 it catapulted author Brian Jacques to international stardom. And small wonder! This enthralling tale is jam-packed with the things we long for in a great adventure: danger, laughter, hairbreadth escapes, tragedy, mystery, a touch of wonder, a truly despicable villain, and a hero we can take to heart.

The start of an incredible journey.
Revisado: 04-10-16
Redwall is the first book in the series, and that does nothing to hold it back. It tells the incredible story of Mathias, a brother of Redwall Abbey. Many beloved characters are introduced, and the development of these characters, as well as the story, is masterfully done by Jacques. Highly recommend exploring the series, it's among the best fantasy ever written.

Narrated by the author, the setting, characters, and plot are all exceptional. Can't recommend this entire series enough.
