Would you listen to White Hot again? Why?

Well, I have read and listened to it 3 times in the last 20 hrs!

What was one of the most memorable moments of White Hot?

There were so many, but I think Rogan and Nevada's relationship was the best part for me.

Which character – as performed by Renee Raudman – was your favorite?

Rogan and Nevada

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

there were many!, Though I am super excited to find out what Arabella's magic is !

I loved it, but wasn't Catalina's magic a bit silly? I hope they come up with a better term and explanation for the next book!

Yes, I have already listened to it twice. It's funny and enjoyable to listen to.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Razor Girl?

Finding the beard in the kitchen fryer.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

You can make a film out of a Car Hiaasen book they end up a bit wrong, they are too intricate to be squashed down into 1 film.

A compelling narrative of an Economic Bubble

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would, it's a compelling story and strangely gripping.

What did you like best about this story?

The intensely gripping narrative, and the message it sends, if you are involved in a craze, if it's for tulips or beanie babies cash out asap? There is a reason they say "take the money and run"

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, but it was very interesting.

After reading this story I of course checked out beanie babies on eBay and was shocked to find they are still being sold for prices of up $60. I think it's important to point out that there is still a market out there though it maybe very reduced ? I didn't look very hard to find out how common it was.

Wonderful, magical and strong

The Raven King, I think he is amazing!

Have you listened to any of Simon Prebble’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to a few and I have always enjoyed them, he does a really good job. It's a pleasure to listen to him speak.

If you could rename Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, what would you call it?

I don't think I could rename it, I think the name is perfect. I tried out a few i.e. The Raven King but it doesn't work so well.

This book is a slow burn, it is engrossing but as it gets closer to the end it gets more and more enthralling.
It's a long listen, but if you can stick with it, it is more rewarding than you can imagine.

What about Sean Mangan’s performance did you like?

I wish Jon had read it, but as companion piece to the movie it works very well.

Yes, I love hearing Jon Ronson read his work.

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

The tales of the long nights in the Van, Spent with Chris still dressed as Frank.

Yes, I did intact listen to it all in one sitting

Please more, I would love to have some his earlier works released on audiobook, I can see there are 3 books that haven't so far been released.

Jon Ronson is a Genius

Yes, I have listened to it 3 or 4 times, I enjoy Jon Ronson's books so much I wish they would release all his books on audiobook.

Jon, the intrepid journalist.

It is a very interesting listen

I have since gone a thriller kick, and really this is one of the best books of the genre

Would you consider the audio edition of Searching for Dave Chappelle to be better than the print version?

I am not sure, I wouldn't read the print version as I listen to audiobooks while I sew

It's not very long, so it was easy to listen to all in one sitting.

I am a New Zealander who was living in the US around this time and I remember the news and speculation at the time, and it was really interesting to hear the background and get a better idea of what happened. I admire Dave for standing up for what he believed in, not many people would walk away from that kind of money for their principals.

Would you listen to Easy Riders, Raging Bulls again? Why?

Yes, I've listened to this about 5 times now, and overtime is as good as the first.

What other book might you compare Easy Riders, Raging Bulls to and why?

Well, I think Peter Biskind's books are in a league of their own, very informative and interesting.

What about Dick Hill’s performance did you like?

He did a great narration and is very enthralling

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I don't think you could make a film of this book, there is way too much to be conveyed. It's so in-depth, I really enjoyed it
