Two brothers that have taken very different walks of life, with some awesome questions and answers that make you consider how you feel about these things. I thought this was a killer episode.

Historia
Bram Stoker’s masterpiece, in which the instantly recognisable Count Dracula plans to sate his dreadful appetites in England only to be thwarted by an intrepid band of friends, remains an enthralling story. Exploring themes of sexuality, religion, technology and good versus evil, and told through journal entries, letters and telegrams, its cultural and literary significance is undisputed.

An incredible work
Revisado: 12-10-23
it's no wonder this work has persisted as one of the greats since its publishing in 1897. The mystery and adventure is gripping until the end. Keeble's narration is amazing, and his portrayal of the character's personalities and emotions is some of his finest I've come across.

Good story, silly narration

Can't take it seriously when the half the characters sound like complete goobers. The dragon voices are just right out of Sesame Street

Lots of fill but twice as much thrill
Revisado: 09-11-22
Could not for the life of me figure out why a full quarter of this story was in this book, and not the upcoming primarch book. Other than that slight disappointment, it was exactly as it should be. Heart strings were pulled, literally and figuratively. Dembski-Bowden shows once again, with feeling, that only Angels may fly

Historia
When Redwall was published in 1987 it catapulted author Brian Jacques to international stardom. And small wonder! This enthralling tale is jam-packed with the things we long for in a great adventure: danger, laughter, hairbreadth escapes, tragedy, mystery, a touch of wonder, a truly despicable villain, and a hero we can take to heart.

Still one of the greats.
Revisado: 03-14-22
20 years ago I was absolutely captivated by Redwall. When I saw they were narrated on audible, by the author no less, I had to try it. As a fan of radio/audio dramas, especially from The Black Library (which are usually over the top), this narration was incredibly fun to me. The audio quality can go a little south at times, but the passion the cast has really makes up for it.

Historia
Horus’ armada gathers, and he has defeated all enemies sent against him, even the Emperor’s own executioner. One barrier remains before he can strike for Terra and lay waste to the Emperor’s dream. The Beta-Garmon system occupies the most direct and only viable route to the Solar System and Terra. To break it, Horus assembles a war host of incredible proportions and Titans in untold numbers. To lose here is to lose the war, and Horus has no intention of turning back. But the Imperium understands the importance of Beta-Garmon too.

An epic of God Machines
Revisado: 06-23-21
An in depth novel of the life and battles of Titans and their Princeps. If you have enjoyed the stories of Titans from "Mechanicum" or the "Master of Mankind", and so on, this story is for you. A good look into two very different legios.
And remember when reading the reviews, this book has 70/30 split female protagonists. Also remember the people complaining about " too many ridiculous names" have their favorite space marine chapter roster memorized by heart.
This is the Titanicus, names are meant to be freaking epic

Amazing performance and the epic story that is typical of the Siege of Terra. Titan God engines in full scale massive war, and done correctly at that.
Only issue with the book is the insane amount of jumping back and forth. Divisions in stories would be in the middle of a swing only to come back 25 minutes later to when the blow lands.
Still badass when it does land though.

Historia
As the ash and chaos from Mount Rainier’s eruption swirled and finally settled, the story of the Greenloop massacre has passed unnoticed, unexamined...until now. The journals of resident Kate Holland, recovered from the town’s bloody wreckage, capture a tale too harrowing - and too earth-shattering in its implications - to be forgotten. In this audiobook, Max Brooks brings Kate’s extraordinary account to light for the first time, faithfully reproducing her words alongside his own extensive investigations into the massacre and the legendary beasts behind it.

A well told , well written, exceptionally narrated story. Maybe the last 3 hours I couldn't turn it off.
The sheer depth of the setting really makes the immersion, which is a key point on any spooky story.
Reminds me of the old "First-hand account" horror tales I heard from professional story tellers as a kid , but believable as an adult

It gets a 4 because of the lack of Keeble
Revisado: 08-11-20
Incredible story and real bang up job by the crew involved. My literal only complaint about this performance is the lack of actual narration. Johnathan Keeble did an EXCELLENT job of narrating the story in between dialogue in the first Realmslayer installment. That narration, filling in the actual book parts really set the first one "A Realm apart" from the its' sequel.
Still fricking outstanding though. Will listen to 47 times more at least.
