I would recommend this audio book. There were some voices I did not like but it did not take away from the story. The story was touching. There were a few chapters that made me cry. I love the main characters and felt it was a good listen.

The best historical romance ever

This is my all time favorite Audible book. I loved both the story and the romance. I have listen to it a whopping 3 times. I have also listen to the whole series. I only needed one credit per book but even with that I had to join two different book service to get these free. They are horribly expensive. I am so disappointed not to find more books by the author. Tried all of her aliases!

Good Story but Struggled to finish

The performance was OK. I really hated the voices of some of the men. The story was enjoyable enough even with the grating voices. I struggled with the storylines of rape and cruelty. I loved the two main characters but the violence against two young girls made it a tough listen.
