Gav isn't really sure how he ended up with a castle full of goblins, or why he has a princess locked in a cell. Roland, the last gunslinger, is a solitary figure, perhaps accursed, who with a strange single-mindedness traverses an exhausted, almost timeless landscape of good and evil.
