Beautiful and Brilliant

Saunders picks Russian short masterpieces and explains them in a way I would not have appreciated without such explanation. In this book, I have found some of my favorite stories I have ever heard, performed by some of the best voice actors of our time. This is truly a book of riches.

The medicine I needed

This book really helps me learn that motivation is fleeting but discipline is the way to get things done. Anybody can be motivated today or tomorrow but discipline is placing a brick every day to build a Great Wall. Stoicism as introduced by Ryan Holiday truly has saved my life. Entertaining and enlightening book.

Such an important and helpful book

This book has been instrumental and is a great purchase. Ryan Holiday really modernizes philosophy and gives you practical ways to achieve it in your daily life. Because of his work I am now a practicing stoic and made exponentially better off for it. Big fan.

Just beautiful

The narration was just beautiful ( I recommend it at X1.25 speed). The story is just so approachable and so beautiful. This book really surprised me and is my favorite book of all time now.
