This is Corporate culture and the book falls apart if you don't except the premises. If you're not from an upper middle class white collar background it's a little painful to read. Appreciate the effort to try and make people's lives better but this is cringe. Kept listening to see if there was something useful to take away but it became too forced and stopped.

Interesting premise and a lot of things can be dismissed by saying magic. Cringed at the dialogue for women because it sounded so very terrible. Kept listening despite that and turned away when the Catholicism became too much. Do not recommend.

Downright criminal how the public education system treated this man while I was in school. Glossed over his part in advocating for human rights as though he was a brief sidenote in comparison to Martin Luther King Jr. Painted an image of a radical, militant, black, Muslim extremist who hated all white people in the all too vunerable mind of childhood self. An image that had me terrified to listen to this audiobook around other people for fear they would associate me with white hate.

Yet upon listening to his words found no such person. This expected devil did not exist. Instead found a deeply pieous, contemplative, and self educated human. A demagogue who roused the hearts of the common people and a man who was at the very least aware of his own shortcomings.

This has been a diving board into the deep end of a subject which previously only had a shallow understanding of. The narrator of this book has also done a great job at conveying the text. There was not a moment in which I was not completely enthralled while listening. Thankful the wool has been pulled from eyes.
