Historia
After watching Yvvestrosai burn, Damon is headed home with sore feet and a broken heart. There’s no avoiding what he must tell Malon and Vel. The weight of losing Ria, his partner, his wife, is inescapable. His travels are hard even setting aside his personal struggles. He’s a wanted man and a dangerous man, with his myrblade at the height of its power in the midst of winter. It’s a fact which others recognize, a fact which makes him valued as much as feared.

Overall I love this series. This book brought closure to many of the main arcs in the series with an unexpected twist at the end. That said, I thought the ending could have used a bit more. What exactly happened with Lucivious? Melen? Also the four never really got to talk about their "evolved" relationship. I would have liked to see them come to terms explicitly with the harem relationship they all shared. The ending implied that this really hadn't happened but also clues that that there may be another book?

Celestine is a land of beauty and horror where the heroic souls of men are tempted to fall from heights mere mortals were never meant to attain. Terrence Mack has managed to survive in this brutal world, gathering bonds of great power and ability, passing trials and tribulations that would crush lesser men. Yet his own unwillingness to let others share his burdens may be his undoing, and his greatest challenges are yet to come. To even reach his destiny, Terry must once again cross the Wildervast, a dream world where desires rule fate.

End of an epic
Revisado: 01-19-23
This is my second listen of this series and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It has it all, emotion, drama, romance, and some twists that are really difficult to predict.
Spoilers ahead:
I have very few gripes about this series which I will enumerate ahead. First, "titans" in Greek mythology are not well defined. Here the term is basically used to mean any Greek god not an Olympian including Euryale and Stheno. In Greek mythology (ie Hesiod) though, those called Titans are the offspring of Oranos. Euryale and Stheno come from Ceto who came from Pontus and Gaia. This is a minor nit-pick for a book series that gets mythology amazingly correct down to the gorgon's always having wings.
The other issue I have isn't really an issue but more of an open question: why did the author keep Euryale's curse active? Arachnie got her curse lifted when Athena died, but not Euryale? Not fair. I can almost see how the curse was needed because we're Euryale to become human like Arachnie, the bond gift given to Terry would have been revoked. however, this doesn't quite work because Euryale was always a goddess (or Titan in this series), so she would have been the same as Athena in terms of the ability to bestow bind gifts.
Despite these minor issues, I love love love this series and will likely give it another listen in a few years.

Historia
Whether they were a snake-haired gorgon, a colorful slime woman, or a 15 feet tall Oni, they were free to live peacefully in Pluma Territory. For many of the creatures, living peacefully was something they never dared even dream of, so it was only natural that they traveled from all over the continent to reach his territory. If only the humans would let them. Sometimes it was guards in a neighboring territory killing them for sport, sometimes it was a village stealing all of their supplies, and sometimes it was slavers attempting to profit.

Best narration duo ever?
Revisado: 10-12-22
Kieran and Amber make an incredible team. I really enjoyed their performance with the different accents and dynamic volume range for dramatic effect.
This book carries on the fun, action packed adventure. It strikes just the right balance of action, humor and sex. Only thing I felt was short was the death of a certain herold. I think I completely missed it and will have to go back and find it. The escape with Slade was probably the highlight for me.
This book seemed to take forever to produce, but I'm hoping the next will be out sooner.

loved how Zach takes his new role. Also loved the new characters and am excited to see how they develop with Zach. I wonder who will be the next conquest for Zach and if he will ever fix things up with his human friends or if they will continue to grow more apart.

Historia
Except when you're an outcast. Then it sucks. It really, really sucks. (Really). Euryale, sister of Medusa, longs to be accepted, but no matter what she does, all she gets is more of the same: Heroes who want to kill her, strangers who want to manipulate her, and gods who want to torment her. But there's only so much a gorgon can take. So when Euryale finally snaps and seeks vengeance, she discovers an ancient being who offers her a way to bring all of her enemies to their knees - if she's willing to pay a hefty price. And for a girl who's shunned by all, what's one more curse to bear?

a deserved ending
Revisado: 08-25-22
I liked this one more than Bride. I was hoping to see justice brought to those conceded Olympians and I got a bit of that. Athena and Perseus were brought down and my opinion of Aphrodite definitely changed from the first book. I loved her arc. I felt bad for Aracnee though.
Overall an entertaining listen. Natasha did a great job. A lot more emotional than Bride too.

Historia
Alexander Weiss inadvertently insults Athena, goddess of wisdom, and she casts him away on a forgotten isle filled with statues. Being marooned is bad enough, but the fact that the island is also the home of Euryale, elder sister to Medusa, makes the situation a touch worse. The only thing keeping Alex from being petrified is the fact that Euryale has taken a liking to the blundering mortal. For now.

A fun frolic in Greek myth but justice?
Revisado: 08-16-22
Following Alex's Odyssey through various adapted Greek myths was fun and even more fun was the attention given to an unjustly maligned, obscure but deserving goddess, Euryale. Alex is a somewhat goofy character, but has a solid heart and is relentless as he stumbles through his trials to be reunited with Euryale. He certainly has me smacking my head at times with his daftness, but his arc is good and in the end, he got what he deserved. as for the others...
(probably spoilers ahead)
I would have liked to see more justice dishes out to the likes of Athena and Aphrodite. What Athena had done to Stheno, Euryale and Medusa is both unjust and unforgivable. I would have liked to see her brought down a few rungs. The gorgon sisters deserve justice but Athena, in this story, seemed to be rewarded with an undeserved victory over Aphrodite.
Aphrodite also seemed to get away with way too much. What she did in screwing with Euryale's heart was not met with any justice except to her pride in losing to Athena. Not enough.
Also, I don't recall Phorcys being that well known of a god, but Jessica seemed to know who he was right off the bat. No mention of Euryale's mom, Ceto either. She's probably more obscure, but still I hope to see her in the next one.
Despite all this, I'm excited to read the sequel and am crossing my fingers for #JusticeForStheno and #JusticeForMedusa. Very good read.

Revisado: 06-22-22
What a cliff hanger ending! I found this entry in the series tugging at different emotions more than the previous books. Anger, rage, happiness, sadness all. Once the story uncovered the truth about Complex, I couldn't put it down.
Alex Ford really brings the story to life. I could really feel her performance especially when Jess gave Will the suit. Powerful stuff. Looking forward to book 5.
