Historia
There's a reason We Are Legion was named Audible's Best Science Fiction Book of 2016: Its irresistibly irreverent wit! Bob Johansson has just sold his software company for a small fortune and is looking forward to a life of leisure. The first item on his to-do list: Spending his newfound windfall. On an urge to splurge, he signs up to have his head cryogenically preserved in case of death. Then he gets himself killed crossing the street. Waking up 117 years later, Bob discovers his mind has been uploaded into a sentient space probe with the ability to replicate itself.

Buckle Up, Buster…er, I mean, Bob!
Revisado: 12-08-23
Punchy writing style enhanced by an equally Bobified narration. I appreciated the highly likable and relatable Bobs. The SF boundaries Dennis sets anchor the reader from now to future-present while reaching over a not so distant SF horizon both enticing and terrifying. Looking forward to the next installments.

Historia
A year had passed since Ben Holiday bought the Magic Kingdom from the wizard Meeks, who had set a series of pitfalls against him. Ben survived, by the aid of three loyal friends: Questor Thews, and ill-trained wizard; Abernathy, a talking dog, the court scribe; and the lovely Willow, who sometimes had to be a tree. But Ben had been troubled by dreams of disaster to his former partner, Miles Bennett. Yet when he returned to Earth, Ben found Miles doing splendidly. The dreams had been a trap by Meeks, who had returned to the Magic Kingdom as a tiny insect hidden in Ben's clothing.

Outstanding Production & Narration
Revisado: 06-20-23
The producers of this series were insightful enough to look ahead to a small but telling character detail in book 3 and include that flavor in the whole series. Well done!
Jeremy Arthur’s performance is as fresh and enjoyable as Brook’s Landover series. Kudos and keep up the amazing work, Arthur.

Historia
The Wizard Lord's duty is to keep the world in its delicate balance. He must govern lightly to protect his domain from power-hungry interlopers, such as certain wizards who previously fought to rule the world…but if the Wizard Lord himself strays from the way of the just, then it is up to the Chosen to intercede. Breaker, a young man of ambition, has taken the mantle of Swordsman. Never did he realize that he would be called to duty so quickly, or that the balance of power in his world would be so precarious. He had a duty to perform. A world to save. Why does he still have doubts?

Exhausting
Revisado: 03-24-23
I’m a LWE fan but this book took forever to get rolling and exhausted my patience with redundant dialogue, overworked sympathies and sluggish plot. I appreciate the work LWE put into this but nothing like the pace or characters from his earlier works.
