Historia
After the killing of a prominent mob lawyer, NYPD homicide detectives Jacob Jackson and Caitlin Grimes start receive chilling, written “rules” for how to commit the perfect murder. "Rule number one for the perfect murder: Evidence is your enemy. Leave none behind." Jackson (Reid Scott) and Grimes (Cobie Smulders) race to find the killer, setting them on a collision course with the city’s crime underbelly, and a perpetrator who seems happy to toy with them. “Rule number two. No crimes of passion. The perfect murder is always business, never pleasure.”

Engrossing performance!
Revisado: 01-02-25
Overall good story, really enjoyed the production and performance. Packs the punch of a good mystery/thriller into a digestible 3 hours, I could use more of that.

Historia
Experience a bold take on this classic autobiography as it’s performed by Oscar-nominated Laurence Fishburne. In this searing classic autobiography, originally published in 1965, Malcolm X, the Muslim leader, firebrand, and Black empowerment activist, tells the extraordinary story of his life and the growth of the Human Rights movement. His fascinating perspective on the lies and limitations of the American dream and the inherent racism in a society that denies its non-White citizens the opportunity to dream, gives extraordinary insight into the most urgent issues of our own time.

Excellent! Should be required
Revisado: 05-11-23
This is one of the best (auto)biographies I have ever read. You really get a sense of the transformation Malcom went through in his life. Excellent performance by the narrator

Excellent Narration! So many distinct characters.

This is a great middle grade Agatha Christie-esque mystery. The story is fun and festive and the narrator is truly top notch and so engaging.

Historia
In this stirring audiobook, David McCullough tells the intensely human story of those who marched with General George Washington in the year of the Declaration of Independence, when the whole American cause was riding on their success, without which all hope for independence would have been dashed and the noble ideals of the Declaration would have amounted to little more than words on paper.

Author’s voice is boring like a history professor
Revisado: 09-24-20
If you have trouble concentrating on audiobooks, you may want to skip this one. It’s read by the author, which is usually great, but his voice is so boring that I was hardly able to concentrate on the story or get much out of it.
