Ok, I almost dumped this book in the first chapter, language and content. So glad I held on for a few more chapters.
Enjoyed the book and I’m not a fan of time travel books but this one so different and engaging.

Maybe our sisters in France may like this, but I grew tired of the hopelessness of the whole revolution. It’s not that I don’t like historical books. I do. But this was one female after another never winning the fight. After checking and seeing I would have another 1 1/2 hour I had to give it up. Stats were for performances only.

That I was left lost so often. Maybe a change in readers would make that easier to follow.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Oh My I kept trying, really like to finish my books,, but this one, just wasn’t going anywhere and the language just got worse. Felt like the writer didn’t know what to do with the story so he but in a lot of F*** words to fill the pages.That’s when I stopped.
No more, thank-you very much.

Need something fast paced, uplifting and fun after that one.

No, not that I recall, the narrative was good.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Mmm...no! Unless you need to hear a string of swear words, or something so slow you might use it to get to sleep.
