An all time Star Wars classic

One of the best EU titles, this continues the adventures of Corran Horn of Rogue Squadron as he comes to terms with what it means to be a Jedi in the New Republic era. weaves in and out of the Jedi Academy series to show a different perspective of events.

Well worth a listen.

The story of Kel Turner has been my favourite in the Galaxy's Edge universe and this sixth book does not disappoint. An enjoyable story only slightly marred by character voices changed from previous entries in the series. Get on it.

The Wraith books were always favourites for me, and now having them in this format is brilliant.

My only gripe is the changes in voice from chatacters in Mercy Kill and some of the pronunciations. Though given how some of the characters grow the changes in voice may be intentional. Otherwise, i am just looking foreard to Iron Fist onward. Keep them coming.

The gang is back together.

After 3 books in another place that, while well written, were also not really to my tastes, this was like a summer breeze. Fantastic to be back in the world that hooked my interest and with a group of characters i really enjoy. The ending was fantastic and I cant wait to see what happens next.

A fantastic look back

Doom, Wolf3D, Cmdr Keen and other early id games were a huge part of my childhood. Hearing Romero's story and the story of id from one of its founding fathers was fantastic. Highly recommended.

I’ve lost track of how often I’ve listened to these

They aren’t perfect by any academic measure, but these tomes really are something special. The characters are all full realised and the cast is huge. The setting is wonderful and slowly grows with each new story.

Year 2 is where things really start to heat up and everyone is put through their paces as a team instead of as individuals. Now I’m off to listen to Corpies again. Then 3 and 4. Collect them all, you won’t be disappointed.

Solid start to a new Universe

I’m a big fan of the author’s Battletech works and so jumped at the chance to read/listen to this. A first novel in a new universe that does a lot of world building. There are already characters I love and hate, and the enemy feels well thought out. Heavy on suspense and character building it is fun if not explosively exciting.

I’m looking forward to reading the second in series and the works that follow.

Bring on book 5

Another fantastic unabridged legends book. The finale of the original Mike Stackpole run still holds strength. A fantastic novel with great characters. I can’t wait for more X-Wing rereleases.
