This was easily 3 hours longer than it needed to be. The narrator was an American with a very poor English accent. Why not just get a Brit? We will never know. I honestly could not finish it.

Daniel is almost human

I have either gotten used to the narrator or she has gotten better after 11 books. Daniel is almost likable. I hope that trend continues. I still love Molly, Sid and Gus.

Horrible horrible narrator

Would you try another book from Carola Dunn and/or Mia Chiaromonte?
I enjoy the stories. They are lovely cozy mysteries, nothing unexpected but fun. Unfortunately this narrator must have previously only read to kindergarten students. She is down right annoying almost ruining the story. Almost every sentence is read as if it ends in an exclamation. I hope she doesn't read the rest of the series.

Daisy is great fun
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator is one of the worst I have heard. She would be lovely for Dr Suess!
Was Murder on the Flying Scotsman worth the listening time?
do something else at the same time and the narrator won't cause you to do violence.

This series is wonderful, lot of twists and turns with excellent character.
What other book might you compare The Danger Point to and why?
This is similar to Georgette Heyer 20's 30's mysteries. Much about character and description. Not fast, to be savored.
Have you listened to any of Diana Bishop’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
She reads well, very appropriate to the genre.

This is perfect for a quiet time. Takes you away. Love the knitting sideline!

If you like regency you will find this a fine listen. At first I didn't warm up to her characters but the more of her books I read the more I liked them until I absolutely loved them. This is a good writer, with a good understanding of Regency wonderfully mixed with contemporary issues (battered women, handicapped rights) Really fun listen
