If you like sitting on the edge of your seat talking to (or yelling at) the characters then Society Lost is the series for you. Having lived in Tennessee I wondered if I had walked the grounds of THEM, and were there more? The roller coaster journey of Jesse through out the series left me feeling as I had taken it right alongside him and he became a part of my family I will never forget. Steven C Bird does not disappoint in drawing you in from page one and leaving you at the end thanking God you made it out of the fracas!! Thank you for sharing your talent!!

Steven C Bird does not disappoint. The story just keeps getting more harried with all the situations Jesse finds himself in. With the people facing the battles that he jumps into to help save them you find yourself breathing faster and warning the characters of pending situations as if you are right in the middle of the fracas. When you become one of the characters in the story you know you have found a great writer and story teller.

I did not see all that coming!!!
Writing at it's best, this last book of the 5 book series will have you telling at the characters, yelling at the author and wanting to throw your phone if you are on audible. Wes and Raider will live in my heart forever...and Grandma, to be Grandma is my new goal in life!!! Still Surviving...an absolute must read series!!!

By far one of the best post apocalyptic writers ever!!! and Kevin Pierce IS the voice of the Apocalypse. Horton grabs you in the first paragraph and holds you tight till the last, then you remain silent for the reality to hit that it's over and what just happened. Riveting, hold your breath cuz it's one hell of a ride!!!

I have never listened to a book where I have covered my eyes in fear of what was going to happen. Never felt so angry at a 'character' nor so relieved in one second and taken right back to the top of the highest roller coaster and dropped free fall!!! Borrowed World is an absolute must read. Thank you Franklin Horton for showing me my heart is still in good health.
