Historia
In President Me, Carolla shares his vision for a different, better America free from big issues like big government down to small problems like hotel alarm clock placement. Running on an anti-narcissism platform, President Carolla calls for a return to the values of an earlier time when stew and casserole were on every dinner table and there were no “service dogs” on airplanes. President Me hits right at the heart of what makes our country really annoying, and offers a plan to make all of our lives, but mostly Adam’s, much better.

Quite entertaining, but repetitive...

He's got my vote!
Revisado: 07-09-14
Would you consider the audio edition of President Me to be better than the print version?
The audio version is probably better due to Adam's performance.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I guess Adam.
Have you listened to any of Adam Carolla’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, this is the 3rd book I've listened to. All three were really good, but this is my favorite.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, it was a little too much for one sitting.
Any additional comments?
I've listened to this about three times now and have laughed as hard each time.
Adam Carolla is one of the smartest, funniest and most grounded comedians out there. His views really do make a lot of sense. Of course, he gets a little ridiculous to make his points and to keep it funny, but the underlying ideals are great. I'd vote for him!

Historia
Boolean algebra, also called Boolean logic, is at the heart of the electronic circuitry in everything we use - from our computers and cars, to our kitchen gadgets and home appliances. How did a system of mathematics established in the Victorian era become the basis for such incredible technological achievements a century later?

Not every book should be an audiobook
Revisado: 03-16-14
What disappointed you about The Logician and the Engineer?
The book had lots of equations that were read number for number - I'm evidently too slow to follow when I'm listening to it on the way to work.
Would you ever listen to anything by Paul J. Nahin again?
No, the material wasn't suited for an audio recording. I would be afraid of the same problem for any book written by this guy.
What didn’t you like about Allan Robertson’s performance?
The narrator was fine, but the material was really dry.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Logician and the Engineer?
To translate it to an audiobook, more story and less equations would keep it more interesting.
Any additional comments?
I'm really interested in learning about Claude Shannon, but this book didn't really help. It's probably more interesting as a written book.
