New Fantasy Addiction!

I am enamored of this new world and can't wait for more! As a voracious fantasy buff I can honestly say that this is a story fantasy fans will want to dive into.

There's a terrific blend of humor, action, mystery, and suspense throughout. I also appreciated the magic systems and world building. There was enough explanation to satisfy but enough left unsaid to keep you curious about the world

The cast was memorable with protagonists you quickly come to love and antagonists you like and almost want to see succeed.
I'm very much looking forward to the next installment in the series.

The performance was stellar and the cast was uniquely voiced with different accents and effects. The narrator does a phenomenal job bouncing between cast member voices and accents. The story's tone was set perfectly with the addition of music.

Well worth a credit!

Audiobook? More like a radio play!!

I’ve listened to this narrator before and have been a fan of his for a while. He takes things to a new level in this book. Dozens of characters and accents all of which are distinct and memorable. Emotional, compelling, and absolute re-listen material.

Ann Gallagher delivered an emotional tale set against an exotic backdrop. If you're a fan of historical fiction, gladiators, romance, intrigue, and immersive narration then this one is for you.

Also loved the music in the credits too! Really grabbed me and set the scene!

Touching Story. Great Narration!

I’ve been a long time fan of Michael Ferraiuolo and generally seek out books he narrates. I wind up finding authors and stories I wouldn’t otherwise know about this way. Once again I’m impressed by a terrific performance and a touching story. Worth the purchase or the credit!

I’m not sure where the negative comments are coming from on the narrator’s performance. I’ve been a fan of his for quite a while now and his performances are always fantastic!

While the story itself left me wanting a bit I found the performance to be entertaining.

Fantastic Narration!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Finding?

There was a moment where a music queue (ps how cool is it to have music in an audiobook??) really set the tension as a mysterious character appeared.

What about Michael Ferraiuolo’s performance did you like?

Simply put, everything. The voices, the pacing, the emotion, the humor, all of it! I find that most male narrators have a hard time voicing female characters but Michael's voices seem natural and suitable to each character. I'd have to say I like Hroombra the best. This is the first book I've listened to Michael narrate but it surely won't be the last. He elevates the material and creates a work of performance art.

While the pacing and overall story seemed to move slowly, The Finding is a fine first entry into a new fantasy world. I would say the narration and music really set this audiobook apart and elevate the material to another level.
