Procedure/script was good
Revisado: 01-26-25
Narrator/author talked too fast. A slower, more relaxed voice would have been more effective. I could feel the rushed, hurry-up, time stressed doctor in his voice. Still, one of the better regressions out there.

What Doctors Fail to Tell You About Iodine and Your Thyroid is your guide to strategies to get the iodine your body needs, in its correct and more absorbable form, to prevent thyroid disease.

Historia
This audiobook describes, in a clear and accessible way, the mechanisms that are at play when someone has experienced trauma at a young age. It describes how early experiences shape the brain and the nervous system, and explains why some patterns and behaviors may resist change. More than simply shining a light of understanding, it offers a pathway to resolution of those stubborn, unyielding traits. The pathway is gentle—recognizing that very young parts are at play within, regardless of actual age.

Landmark clinical work
Revisado: 12-15-20
After hydration, sleep is the number 2 factor affecting human well-being. It’s mostly overlooked and given little attention. Even by functional medicine doctors and neurologists. Fix your sleep and improve or eliminate most chronic health problems. It’s worked in every case I’ve seen.

Two-thirds of us have experienced at least one adverse childhood experience, or ACE, such as abuse, neglect, parental substance dependence, or mental illness. Even though these events may have occurred long ago, they have the power to haunt us long into adulthood, and now we have found that they may even contribute to lifelong illness. Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, the founder/CEO of the Center for Youth Wellness and recipient of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award, expands on similar topics as in her popular TED talk.

Excellent narration and content
Revisado: 03-18-19
One of the best narrations on Audible. Easy to listen to and understand the the more complex details. This information can reestablish your health, or at least, save your life. Gerson Therapy can be further optimized by incorporating the latest developments in genetics and intermittent fasting. Further assessment of its (few) failures should be addressed for a complete, and unbiased, assessment.
