Historia
Avani's favourite thing to do is bury her nose in romance novels, but, honestly, life can't be trusted to make the stories real, right? But in the bookstore where she works, a man walks in, straight out of the pages of her favourite love stories. Aman is hot, successful, seems to know what she's going to say before she's said it, and just cannot get enough of her. In short, he's perfect. Then why is Avani losing her mind, ignoring the advice of her BFFs and trying to convince herself that he's just too good to be true?

Sweet and refreshing
Revisado: 04-24-25
This book had me laughing quite a bit throughout the story telling. It was such a sweet, refreshing, and relatable story. I enjoyed every minute of it and was a bit sad when it ended.

The Conclusion I was hoping for and needed
Revisado: 02-19-24
I fell in love with this series with the first book, devoured the next, and counted down the days to this release and devoured it as well. The adventure, character development, and crafting of this story is brilliant. Without spoilers, I have to say there is one character that I wanted to hear more about towards the end. I wasn’t super happy with how things ended or didn’t end for this person but it was probably Karma. That aside, I was in tears with the last few chapters. It is rare that a book brings out such emotion for me. 1000/10 I highly recommend.

Wow….I just…. Wow
Revisado: 11-11-23
I have never been on an adventure like I was with this book. I have never smiled, laughed, and shoulder-shakingly cried the way I did with this book. It was so well written. The setting and characters all so thoughtfully created. The reader. Elizabeth Evans, breathed life into this book in such a way that it was easy to picture and feel every emotion. I would love to see it come to life on the big screen but I’m honestly afraid a movie would not do this book justice.
Thank you to Sarah J. Mass for such a beautiful gift.

Historia
Mona Lisa St. James made a deathbed promise that she would do anything to save her mother's art gallery. Unfortunately, not only is The Red painted red, but it's in the red. Just as she realizes she has no choice but to sell it, a mysterious man comes in after closing time and makes her an offer: He will save The Red if she agrees to submit to him for the period of one year. The man is handsome, English, and terribly tempting - but surely her mother didn't mean for Mona to sell herself to a stranger.

I haven’t read anything like this before
Revisado: 08-04-23
I will say…this book certainly is not for everyone. It pushes boundaries, blurs lines, and makes you question yourself, your perceptions and beliefs about many topics. I was challenged by this book and it was uncomfortable but by the end I was thankful for it and loved the journey. Very sexy and WILD…

Laughter and tears
Revisado: 03-06-17
This was the perfect book to listen to. Jen Hatmaker is both funny and real when it comes to life, it's many oddities, challenges, and gifts. She frames life so well and really makes you appreciate all the good and the bad. Well written, well read, and simply well done. Ugh For ALL the Love!!! <3
