Historia
In Murder on Kilimanjaro, Scott Devlon, Afghanistan war veteran, mountaineer and occasional agent for the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency has been invited by the sitting President of the United States to join him on his climb of the highest point in Africa. The president is returning to his family roots and will be accompanied by his recently surfaced son, product of the president's youthful liaison with a local tribal chief's daughter in Africa 20 years before. With the primary election season finished and the convention still a few months off, the president's PR staff have determined that this expedition will jump start his campaign for re-election and set at ease any lingering questions about the sudden appearance of this unexpected son.

Would you listen to Murder on Mt. McKinley again? Why?
A very exciting book full of action and adventure in every word.
Have you listened to any of Greg Lutz’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Greg Lutz is a hit every time.
Any additional comments?
Scott Devlon finds himself in the middle of chaos once again, on another one of the world's seven continental summits. This time, Devlon is climbing Mt. McKinley, and his group includes an unethical reporter, rival oil companies that don't disguise their disdain for one another, environmental protection groups, and angry local Alaskan tribes. It isn't long before murder and mayhem take place, and Devlon is doing everything he can to just stay alive. These novels just keep getting better and better. The history and research that the authors do to add to their story is evident, and only makes it better. I'm looking forward to the next installment!

An exciting, action-packed novel!
Revisado: 01-13-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. Murder On Everest is a crazy ride! First, I must admit that since I'm not a mountain climber I feared that some of the terms and descriptions may be over my head. I shouldn't have worried because Irion and Watkins do a great job of explaining everything in a way that is easy to follow. I had NO IDEA that mountain climbing could be so dangerous and involved! I felt the danger in each word spoken! The danger of the climb added to the story, making me bite my nails in anticipation.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Scott Devlon - He is the kind of hero every book should have.
What does Greg Lutz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Greg's voice made me feel excitement, anticipation, worry, and the danger in every step of the climb in this book. He made me feel like I was on the mountain too and to me that is the sign of a wonderful narrator.
