Historia
A covert group is infiltrating the world’s most secure bio-weapons research sites. All across the country, people are acting as human ‘disease bombs’ by infecting themselves and walking into public places. And heavily armed groups of illegal private soldiers are massing for some unknown strike. Joe Ledger and the members of Rogue Team International, still reeling from the devastation and heartbreaking losses of their last mission, are forced into relentless action to try and save the country, if not the entire world.

Revisado: 03-13-25
Another great listen from JM in the Joe Ledger universe. Good build up, great story lines fr multiple directions all converging to the end. I love the story telling and Ray Porter. If they ever make this a movie/series he is going to have to do the voice over.

Historia
We used to think of failure as the opposite of success. Now, we’re often torn between two “failure cultures”: one that says to avoid failure at all costs, the other that says fail fast, fail often. The trouble is that both approaches lack the crucial distinctions to help us separate good failure from bad. As a result, we miss the opportunity to fail well. After decades of award-winning research, Amy Edmondson is here to upend our understanding of failure and make it work for us. In Right Kind of Wrong, Edmondson provides the framework to think, discuss, and practice failure wisely.

This is another great book from Amy. She puts together a list of reasons failure occurs and opportunity to resolve. Definitely showing this is not easy nor straight forward to implement.

Historia
Vince Carver is persona non grata. As an asset, he's difficult to control. As an operator, he has no equal. Carver may be on the outs with the CIA, but the feds recognize a value proposition when they see one. Sooner or later, his services are always in demand. He gets a shot at redemption when the son of a Mexican congressman is kidnapped by narcos. A newly hobbled DEA with diminished operational resources needs two things more than ever: a solution, and deniability. With Delta Force experience in hostage rescue and no official government ties, they tap Carver for the mission in Tijuana.
