Historia
How rough can you take it? Lourdes. He was brazen as hell from the moment I laid eyes on him. He was aggressive, and dominant, with Mack truck arms, and a bar brawler voice. He was too good looking for his own good, with a hard jaw, and harder eyes. I’d always led a fairly peaceful life, but even I could tell at a glance that this man was dangerous. For so many reasons. Not the least of which being that rough, dirty, sheet-clawing sex fairly radiated off him. I’d thought I’d known how to handle every kind of man, but this one left me baffled.

I can understand someone with English as a second language missing letters and annunciation being different but why are we adding letters to words!!! Infurieriating What! It sure is infuriating, save your money

Historia
There is a serial killer on the loose preying on vulnerable women. The only identifiable mark the killer leaves are letters - sometimes one, sometimes two - all carved into the torsos of his victims. Together, they spell “Sydney”. When he grabs Daisy Dawson, he believes he has found his next victim. But despite her small stature, she fights back with an expertise that quickly frees her. Before fleeing the scene, Daisy also manages to grab what proves to be crucial evidence: a necklace from around the killer’s neck.

Terrible Narrator ruins another Karen Rose Gem
Revisado: 10-27-20
I am so disappointed, I love Karen Rose books but I could hardly get through this one because of the narrator. He absolutely can not do a female voice and Russian accent was making me bonkers! Then joy of joys I see he's narrated the next book in this series. Do yourself a favor and skip the audio of this one.

Zero for this narrator!
Revisado: 10-19-20
I wish I could have given zero stars for this narrator. I usually preorder all of Mary Burton's books but I'll be careful not to buy one with this woman narrating again. It's a shame because the book is a great one for those fans of Mrs Burton's. I'd suggest skipping the audio version of this one.

Not worth a credit
Revisado: 07-02-20
If you get this book for free, then it might be worth your time. It is pretty predictable, which is perfect for a beach read when you love the cast of characters. Unfortunately the majority of the characters in this book are awful and hard to like, nevermind listening to the main character pining to please them and have them in her life. I'd say skip it all together but definitely don't waste a credit...
The narrator was great, even at 3 times the speed!
