Living in a country where being queer is widely accepted, this audible opened my eyes to the cultural norms in the Middle East and other societies/religions. I did not know that in some places you are punished for being who you are. Beautiful and educating.

I've never read a Sandman book before. This is a great first! The story was well interpreted thru audio, I'm guessing the dialogs are shorter in comic form.
