This is an absolutely fantastic listen! There are only two Pippa Grant books that move slow, and unfortunately for me, one of these was the last I listened to. This time I started the book sometime around 10AM, finished it by 10PM, AND LOVED EVERY SINGLE SECOND!!!
Do not hesitate! Add this one to your library immediately. Then add this series to the rest of hers on your comfort or pick me up list.

I am so glad I forgot that Max's story was with the nanny, since those are not usually on my preferred list. Once again Amy Daws knocks it out of the park. I have been wandering around my house laughing all day, until of course, it was time for a few tears. Everything about this book and the narration is perfect and wonderful and so, so fabulous!!!

It's a fun book that drags on 4 hours too long

If you've ever listened to TL Swan before, you'll know some of her books have an overuse of the word "Sexily", which really takes you out of the overall story. I am very pleased to say that I only counted nine occurrences of the word in this book!
If you've never worked in an office before, the sub-plot is an interesting side diversion, and you should enjoy the book as a whole. Having been a manager in a large office, the whole sub-plot would have been worked out and shut down much more quickly. It's a fun book that drags on about 4 hours too long.
