OK book but not belly laugh

I love football and this was a good story but...the reviews were misleading this is not a belly laugh book. I did chuckle briefly about halfway through to an unmemorable comment. Performances are well done but this is just a book, nothing great

Big sleeping pill

If you like an over dramatized nothing like real life Hallmark romance then this book is for you. I could not even finish it...

Even worse the cadence of the narration is unbearable. I tried listening at 1.25 speed but it did not help much. Really disappointing to waste a credit on this.

Pretty good story but weird narration

narration has an odd almost computerized tone with word inflections in the wrong places. Getting past that was difficult but the overall story was pretty good

Wonderful

This character is beautiful and touches the reality of life for people who live on the fringe of society who want to fit in but do not know how. While her personality was formed from abuse and tragedy she is very much like a person with Asperger's Syndrome. Her life experience prevents her from understanding how to fit into main stream society even though she longs for friends and companionship. Anyone who was raised in a home of abuse and or neglect and hears their mother's voice in their head will relate to this story in a profound way.

Great if you are a gay man

Where does Carsick rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

While the story starts off somewhat interesting if takes a downward spiral during the sexual exploits throughout the demolition derby...lost me there- had to turn it off.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Unsure but it will hopefully be funny and intelligent.

Nope, I am all finished with Mr. Waters, too bad because he is smarter than this book.
