Absolute worst book heroine of all time

I don't think I have ever hated a female lead more than I hate Charlie lol she is the WORST!! I have listened to the entire series so clearly I liked them enough to keep on going, but if Charlie had been the lead of any of the earlier books it would have made me stop and request a refund. I pushed thru this one just because I wanted the conclusion of some of the other, much more likable characters. She is just the WORST!! Ahhgg lol She literally has 0 redeeming characteristics... She is whiny, pathetic, weak and when she finally get what she wants she says "wait just kidding, I don't want u, I'm to messed up, your better without me" 🙄😒🙄 I'm rolling my eyes so hard they hurt lol she is so wishy washy and immature. This is an age gap romance but Charlie makes it just so unbearable. It is just so unrealistic to think a man like Hawk would put up with Charlies whiny dumb behavior. She is the WORST!!!! Don't waste money or time with this one, I'm regretting the last 10 hrs of my life 🤣

I loved everything about this twisted, dark, sexy romance. It is definitely not for the faint of heart, there is a lot of very graphic sex and blood shed. But if you like your romance extra dark and intense than this is for you! I especially liked the fact that K.A. Knight was able to keep each lover unique and memorable in their own way, I definitely had my favorites lol 😉 lol but each of them was likable and definitely bangable 🤣 narration was incredible of course! I could listen to Jason Clark narrate a phone book and still swoon over him lol he was at the top of his game with this one though, he did a great job of giving each mate their own unique accent. Celestine Wolf is another great narrator that always does a great job of relaying emotion in her performance, dhe doesn't just "read" the words! I definitely recommend this book, its always annoying when books are split into two purchases lol but in this case it was definitely worth it! I'll reread these many times I'm sure!

Incredible dark sexy romance

LOVED IT!!!

I rarely write reviews, it takes a serious emotional response to make me take the time to write a review... I know that's super lazy but I typically listen to a book a day (depending on length) so by the time a book is on its last chapter I'm usually already on the hunt for the next book. That being said... HOLLY SH*T I loved this book!!! I loved how creepy and off beat it was, I loved the unique twist to the fairytale we all know and love. The narration is on point! I do not have a single complaint about the narrators. Daniel does an incredible job with all of the male voices, he really made each of them unique yet equally drool worthy 👏 Marissa did an amazing job as well, her emotions really shown thru in her performance, she is a new favorite or mine! There is a TON of sex, so if that offends your delicate sensibilities then this is definitely not the book for you. Scratch that lol there is a TON of crazy detailed erotic sex, lots of naughty talk and cuss words annnnd a mass amount of blood, all throughout the book! The first few chapters are pretty hard to listen to with the very descriptive torture and abuse that Snow is subjected to. But I'm glad I stuck thru it because it really turned out to be an awesome book that I will definitely reread! I cannot wait to see what else Loxley Savage has in store for us depraved readers 🤗 thank you Loxley, your twisted mind has made my day much more enjoyable 😄

Worst heroine ever

I cannot put into words how annoying this chick is. She is the worst combination of immature, naive, dumb and annoying... besides her stupidity the story line isn't too bad, it's been done a million times But its still a good one lol But she makes the story unbearable. I am not opposed to the Insta love, over done erotic romance, they are my favorite for long drives lol but this one has by far the most ridiculous heroine ever! I don't think I have ever disliked a character so much in all the hundreds and hundreds of books I've read. She has no backbone on top of being the most naive girl in the world, it's a terrible combination and to make things worse, she doesnt redeem herself. At no point in the story does either character grow up or mature. They just continue on as their terrible selfs, just together lol it's dumb

Seriously disappointing

Normally I enjoy Louise Bay very much, and how can you not like narration by Shane and Claire. If it wasn't for the narrators, I probably would have returned this book way earlier than I did, as it is I returned it at about 80% ... this book was incredibly frustrating, boring, unrealistic and just plain f****** dumb. SPOILERS past this point, so only continue if u don't mind my honest explanation of why this is not worth a credit, I wouldn't even finish it if it was free on Audible Escape lol

okay we start off the book with Ash and Luke in their late twenties maybe 30 , they are both currently dating other people. Luke has been with his gf for 3 years and Ash has been with her bf for a few months. Ash has been in love with Luke since they were young children but of course Luke has never thought of Ash as anything other than his best friend. Okay so the first 8 or 10 chapters is just unnecessary BS of them with their other spouses, then a day after Luke breaks up with his girlfriend ( Ash broke up with her by a few weeks before that) they sleep together lol youd think Ash would be and intelligent person seeing as she is a nurse and is pursing her MBA but she is absolutely positively dumb! The day after they sleep together, luke is ready to move in and start a life with Ash ... but Ash tells Luke that she thinks he needs to spend some time on his own... go rent his own apartment, go date other people, go experience life on his own, and so he does... which of course devastates Ash LOL he start dating another woman, several times he goes out with this woman and kisses her quite a bit. Then Ash starts spending her time with her ex and then we continue on like this for another 10 chapters of them dating other people and Ash being a whiny immature girl. I don't want to sit there and listen to a book about our main characters dating other people, literally 80% of this entire book is them actively dating other people. The little bit of time that we get with them actually together, is them either just f****** or whining about wanting to be together, it's exhausting. Luke seemed like a decent dude but there honestly just wasn't enough character development, I had no connection to either of them. I was super disappointed 😒

Teddy was amazing as usual, Ava was very whiny ... I have always loved M. Nevers books but this one did not hit the mark for me at all. The first part of the book was good, second was just ok and the third was so pointless, and predictable ... it should have just ended at the second one lol

Best book ever!!!

Stop reading these reviews and listen to this book... NOW !! No joke!! You will not regret it. The combo of narration, author and story line all comes together to be the most beautiful thing I've listened too in a very long time. I listened to 200+ books last year and this book stands out amongst them all! I am not a professional book reviewer lol so I don't know how to properly express all the fine points of 'like the wind' but what I can say is this book had me laughing out loud (which I never do), crying real tears while my heart was simultaneously squeezing itself to death, at the edge of my seat one minute and the fanning myself the next 💖 please oh please J. Bengtsson give us MORE!!!!!

Soooo Good

Both Joe and Erin were absolutely fantast as usual, I can usually get thru anything either of these two read regardless of storyline quality. But Forget you Ethan not only has great narrators but a wonderfully unique story too!! It held my attention the entire time, with just the right amount of angst and sexy times :) I typically do not like YA but even tho most of the book takes place while they are in college, these characters are not immature and did not annoy me at all lol
