If you live for a clever and snarky mystery...
Revisado: 10-01-17
then you should definitely give this new series a go! Do you love a brilliant mystery/murder set in old London, filled with literary hero's and well monster's, don't hesitate to pick up this book. The Easter eggs dropped liberally throughout this book are wonderfully executed and well timed. I am a great lover of Roger Zelazney's masterpiece A Night in the Lonesome October, you will find this book a brilliant start to a series I personally can't wait to continue. P.S. Kate Reading is a masterful choice for narrator, she is a class act and gives individual life to each character in this book, which is no small feat.

I am in love with this series. If you are looking for a book series that is about police dogs and small towns, with some big city problems, this is the book series for you. Nancy Wu does an excellent job at narration and brings life to the complex world of these characters.
Give this book a try and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Revisado: 09-26-16
This book is very well written. You'll never see the end coming. I am never surprised at the way plots twist and yet this book had me twisting and turning all the way to the prologue. It's a dark, you will squirm a bit and the mystery is so deeply rooted it will leave you bare as the pieces are slowly brought to light. At the end of the book, I was very proud of the last person standing for their strength and endurance of the horrible secrets that were uncovered, and how they handled these secrets. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have.

I adore this series!
Revisado: 02-26-16
Do you yell at the TV during romantic comedys? Does every book you read have its conflict based on an amazingly obvious lack of communication? This book series will make all of that disappointment melt away. Releve in the common sense thoughts and dialog the Author brings to each mad cap adventure. Sigh with contentment when the hero/heroine behaves just like you would have in the situation. This book series is more relief that a tall ice tea on a hot Texas summer afternoon. Enjoy my fellow readers! I hope you find the refreshing difference as simulating as I have.

Excellent Book!
Revisado: 01-03-13
Where does Metro Girl rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is a book that my daughter and I can not put down! C.J. Critt does a fabulous read as well. Excellent all around I there is not enough good things to say about it! I love the cast of characters and the flow of the story line and when you add C.J. Critt's voice to the mix this becomes a true essential to my Library. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we have.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The big question on your mind is ...okay after this is nuttyness...will be what can happen next and how will they get out of this mess!
There is a sequel so yes the you can read more about the people you fall in love with!
What does C.J. Critt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Barnaby and Hooker come to life! You will forget right away that there is only one person reading the book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Over and over again yes!
