Historia
The 1950s are on the horizon, and Archer is in dire need of a fresh start after a nearly fatal detour in Poca City. So Archer hops on a bus and begins the long journey out west to California, where rumor has it there is money to be made if you’re hard-working, lucky, criminal - or all three. Along the way, Archer stops in Reno, where a stroke of fortune delivers him a wad of cash and an eye-popping blood-red 1939 Delahaye convertible - plus a companion for the final leg of the journey, an aspiring actress named Liberty Callahan who is planning to try her luck in Hollywood.

i found this work to be instructive and endearing.
Revisado: 12-29-18
i listened to it twice..the whole book. Mrs Obama says that she, in effect, wasted her time going to Princeton and Harvard, while proving she learned a great deal at those places, the south side, and from her auntie, her father, her mom...jesse jackson's daughter her old man , her family in general, her bosses at the public interest side of the city of Chicago, and her daughters .Her book is far more than the memoir of a public person.;.it is testament to her life well lived. I, for one, am appreciative of her effort in living her life, and writing her book..The scenes of her figuring out the best bus routes to her private middle school, to her running through the field of flowers with her football player beaux at Princeton, to her first encounters with the bookish, young summer hot shot smoker at Sidley, ,to Barack proposing over desert at a crowded Chicago restaurant , and her dad taking her to her first day at Princeton are epic...and carry her narrative forward well....i am most appreciative...She has added well to her husbands story..and i have read many biographical stories of him. She is well worthy of the cough drops gifted to her by W , 43 at the funerals of Mccain and HW, 41....Bless her

Historia
The Passage of Power follows Lyndon Johnson through both the most frustrating and the most triumphant periods of his career - 1958 to 1964. It is a time that would see him trade the extraordinary power he had created for himself as Senate Majority Leader for what became the wretched powerlessness of a Vice President in an administration that disdained and distrusted him. Yet it was, as well, the time in which the presidency, the goal he had always pursued, would be thrust upon him in the moment it took an assassin’s bullet to reach its mark.

Historia
The Presidents Club was born at Eisenhower’s inauguration when Harry Truman and Herbert Hoover first conceived the idea. Over the years that followed - and to this day - the presidents relied on, misunderstood, sabotaged, and formed alliances with one another that changed history. The world’s most exclusive fraternity is a complicated place: its members are bound forever because they sat in the Oval Office and know its secrets, yet they are immortal rivals for history’s favor.
