I love Tony. I love Peter. If you read Peter's books, and you are up to date on the space, there's little that's new in here.

This really feels like they are just using this book to pitch companies they have invested in. They're fine donating all profits from the book because it's going to generate stupid amounts of profits. I'm okay when authors have other products, and even when they mention them, but this reads like a listing of all products they have invested in, rather than a read about future technology.

I love this topic, and I'm a big fan of Tony, but this feels like a cash grab.

Additionally, the narrator was way too dull to capture the book's voice. And he didn't even know how to pronounce Peters name.

All in all, this was a rushed work that is likely intended to sell products and services.

I enjoyed the book and the information therein. I did not enjoy the multiple mispronunciation by the narrator. He was a good narrator otherwise, but that was really obnoxious to hear quinoa, glycogen, and other words mispronounced over and over.

This is such an important topic, but this entire listen just comes across as whining without a solution. We didn't just find out that there is a problem with burn out, and this just focused on the fact that it exists, without putting forward any new information or possible solutions.

If you could sum up Get Abundance in three words, what would they be?

Change the World

Who was your favorite character and why?

Well, I'd say Peter? Since he's basically the only one you hear from.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was inspired - Peter Diamandis is inspirational, and while there wasn't a tremendous amount of new content here, it was presented well, and it was truly inspirational.

Any additional comments?

Get this. Now. Just buy it.

What did you love best about Bold?

This is a playbook - there are plenty of examples, and there is plenty of guidance.

What other book might you compare Bold to and why?

Well, Abundance is the obvious choice - both point to the future, but this is more practice, where Abundance was more theory. I'd compare it to Influence, by Robert Cialdini - tons of information, but also helpful how-to's.

How could the performance have been better?

I would get a different narrator. I'm usually in favor of authors reading their own books, but Kotler is a bit too monotone for this. That's fine for interviews and podcasts, but for an Audio Book...well, let's just say I often had to go back because I had lost focus.I love your writing Steven! Just not your audio book reading voice :)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No - I don't think you should. This is a dense book, and it warrants multiple listens (or reads) and each read should take multiple sessions.I'd also considering getting the actual book to follow along and refer back to.

Any additional comments?

It's a great book, but the performance is very difficult to sit through. I'd consider making this one that you actually read for real.
