The first time I tried to read this book I couldn't get far, it was too sad. But Amanda's books never fail to move me so I tried again and was not disappointed. She is my favorite all-time narrator with a lovely voice that can express every emotion. Although this story has a horrible tragedy and pulled me into the tidal wave of grief (not fun) she managed to create a glorious, happy ending that left me loving the story. This is the first book of hers that is loaded with profanity, which I didn't like at all. But she doesn't get too graphic about sex which I appreciate. She remains one of my favorite authors and my #1 favorite narrator. This book will get deep into your heart and soul. I recommend it.

Everything was fabulous, as are all books written by Amanda Prowse. I love her happy endings. This book helped pull me out of a deep depression after my husband died of COVID. THANK YOU!
