Historia
After witnessing the murder-suicide of his parents as a child, Noah suffers from a form of PTSD that has left him without emotion, without a conscience, and without the ability to function as a normal human being. Noah finds structure in the US Army and becomes an exemplary soldier, but when his self-imposed programming is put to the test by the murderous acts of his superior officer, Noah finds himself quickly made expendable. Now, an ultrasecret organization known as E & E wants Noah's talents, offering him a chance to survive - as the most deadly assassin the world has ever known.

I'm certain that many aspects of these stories are absolutely true. The technologies used do seem a bit behind the times compared to the kind of bleeding edge tech that is (more than) possible even when these were written.
The stories are ok, and I get the feeling that the author might have interviewed or at least brushed shoulders with real or former operators.
I think I got spoiled listening to orphan x and grey man.

Skillfully executed epic story

In the context of archetypes and transformation of characters in the heros journey, this is outstanding writing, although some of the characters still seem a bit 2 dimensional. in terms of story, I love it.

I listen to a LOT of LitRPG and it can get pretty repetitive. This was a departure from the more typical book in that genre, despite being "repetitive" (by design).
Thank you for putting all this together.

and light on the applicable techniques of visualization associated with energy healing and astral travel.
Greta Thunburg as an example of someone with perfect energy balance, and fully opened Crown Chakra? 👌
She's literally a well-intentioned ideological tool of globalism, and is being used to help usher in agenda 2030.
I've been looking for something more directive and technical when it comes to techniques used by people who can heal others and take part in astral projection.
I'm able to use my hands to see tension in others, and I'm able to release energy accumulated in areas of certain kinds of inflammation, but usually only after I clear an out path for the stagnant energy.
I can feel energy sloshing around inside and can usually direct it into my hands, sometimes to the point where I can see a tiny blue spark when a finger moves off a point of tension on someone, but my eyes need to be focused in a somewhat lazy manner.
I learned how to do it while I was I'm college watching a lecture. Right before someone has an ideation outburst, there is a clearish bolt that leaves their forehead and goes upward and strikes their aura from the inside and briefly invelops their upper body in a shell that looks like a bubble. This is different than the aura I sometimes see, but I can't say it's an aura I can see when looking directly at someone.
I do believe in these energies. I am far from adept, but after 20 years of practice, I'm not exactly new either. My hopeful expectation is mostly the cause of my rating.
This book absolutely has wonderful value. For me it's the diagnostic info that has most value.

As far as entertainment value goes I'd be hard pressed to say that this doesn't tie with The Land by Aleron Kong.
This series answers a lot of questions not usually answered by other novels in this genre.
I laughed, I was disturbed, but I wasn't disappointed.

Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Historia
Some say that to change the world you must first burn it down. Now that belief will be tested in the crucible of revolution: The Breakers and Burners have seized the levers of power, the smoke of riots has replaced the smog of industry, and all must submit to the wisdom of crowds. With nothing left to lose, Citizen Brock is determined to become a new hero for the new age, while Citizeness Savine must turn her talents from profit to survival before she can claw her way to redemption.

A Stark Warning
Revisado: 10-14-21
When I started this series the world was in a different place and I was a different person.
I had originally had a distaste for the prevelamce of female characters but I soon realized that they weren't simply women put in the archetypes generally held by men. This author is a master at developing great characters and I appreciated the change.
Then I noticed the parallels of mob rule, and of those people who revere "equity".
There are countless instances where the Author describes the madness that takes over individuals when they are caught up in the fervor or riots.
It would be wise to take this as a warning.

Narrator is getting on my nerves
Revisado: 04-13-21
Get your sh!t together Shawn Milo. You're making people not like listening to a series they like the story for.
So I'm on book 4 of this series and it seems like the Narrator needs to do better, or find other work. While he does have a "good voice" I get the impression that almost all of what he reads is also the first time he reads it. I don't know how else to describe it but he also does high pitched thing at the beginning of sentences, especially when reading a succession of observations made by DJ (or whoever really) or during slower parts of the book.
I'm (also) positive he burps and sighs within the first 15 minutes of the book. No way was this edited.

Historia
Set on a large ranch in rural upstate New York, it’s early days for the eccentric group of people who call themselves "The Zeta Family" - quite possibly the next big cult phenomenon. Our protagonist, Katie, is an aspiring reporter who has decided to infiltrate the compound, and her future success as a journalist depends entirely on her ability to win the confidence of Zeta Doug, the likable spiritual leader of the group. He’s like a cross between Hunter S. Thompson and George R. R. Martin, with a little too much sci-fi in his head and acid in his blood stream.

Self Absorbed with some kinda funny bits
Revisado: 12-20-20
If the point was to illustrate how everyone in the story was so self absorbed it was impossible for them to connect with anyone... then the author got it right
Wanting to reach in to the characters and yank out the point of their yammering is more of a chore than a good leasure activity.
