Historia
The future is now. Artificial "machine" intelligence is playing an ever-greater role in our society. We are already using cruise control in our cars and automatic checkout at the drugstore and are unable to live without our smartphones. The discussion around AI is largely polarized; people think either machines will solve all problems for everyone or they will lead us down a dark, dystopian path into total human irrelevance. Regardless of what you believe, the idea that we might bring forth intelligent creation can be intrinsically frightening.

Probably one of the best vulgarisation book on AI
Revisado: 04-19-20
I strongly recommend this book to anybody who is looking to learn more about the reality, practicality, opportunities, challenges and ethics of AI. It is not a technical book but most definitely can help most people make an informed opinion on those previously mentioned topics. In short, a great guide to support a critical thinking process as it relates to Artificial Intelligence vs succumbing to public argument and popular movies who play on Fear, Uncertainty and Doubts of people.

It does not matter what is your position on the what I consider great achievements of Dr. Kissinger. The fact is that he played the best game he could with the card he was dealt with from his standpoint. The book is very interesting as it goes systematically over significant event and negotiations throughout his career and is a great listen for the curious mind and the academic alike.

Nothing new but well presented and performed
Revisado: 04-19-20
It serves as a good reminder to managers and people who want to improve focused performance. A book that should surely be shared with team members with time and priority management issues. If I have one improvement to suggest it would be to integrate directly as a support PDF many of the references the author make throughout the book which makes it sound like pushy marketing (Go to our web site to... like 50 times in the book...)

A biography
Revisado: 04-19-20
An interesting book if you want to learn about the path of an agent, it is a very personal book in the sense that you learn from a person's experience. There is not much to be learn from an academic standpoint in terms of intelligence or security studies.

Historia
The Unexpected Spy is the riveting story of Walder's tenure in the CIA and, later, the FBI. In high-security, steel-walled rooms in Virginia, Walder watched al-Qaeda members with drones as President Bush looked over her shoulder and CIA Director George Tenet brought her donuts. She tracked chemical terrorists and searched the world for Weapons of Mass Destruction. She created a chemical terror chart that someone in the White House altered to convey information she did not have or believe, leading to the Iraq invasion.

Historia
No single invention of the last half century has changed the way we live now as much as the Internet. Alexander Klimburg was a member of the generation for whom it was a utopian ideal turned reality: a place where ideas, information, and knowledge could be shared and new freedoms found and enjoyed. Two decades later, the future isn't so bright any more: increasingly, the Internet is used as a weapon and a means of domination by states eager to exploit or curtail global connectivity.

Not for the Security it IT pro
Revisado: 07-26-18
I rarely write full reviews but this time I am doing so warn cyber security professionals. I am now half through the book and I asked for a refund, this book covers things all of us already know, it is written for the somebody who don’t understand technology already. If you are an IT or security pro, you won’t learn much. the book Optimizing Cyber Deterrence is way better.
