I feel like it was hard to get into this one, but finally at the end everything came together. Betrayal. Lies. Excited to see if the second book holds the momentum of the ending of the first book.

I read the comments on this book and thought of crap I wasted a credit on this book. But I actually really liked it. There were some parts that were definitely YA but I liked it and will read the whole series! Take a chance!

What an amazing love story. Difficult choices, loss, and love. I would recommend this book 100%. Definitely a romantic novel, but without the raunchy parts. More about figuring out who you are and what you want.

If you are debating reading this book, I really hope that you do. I wasn’t sure I would be able to listen to the female narrators voice but after a little bit it wasn’t so bad. The story was well told and sad. The things kids in foster care go through is absolutely heart breaking. I thought I was happy with the the ending until the 2nd epilogue then tears were streaming down.

This story was a good story about the troubles of family and how they can overcome some things and become close again. But there was a lot of fat shaming. One of the siblings were quoted to be a size 16 and was called fat by pretty much everyone in the book. I think it was little bit over kill. The reader of the book on the other hand was amazing and told the story quite well.
