Interesting reading Charan's book "Why We Remember" because it connects to what I have always believed - That our experiences do constitute the raw materials for our ideas. There is an ancient idea that states Nothing comes from Nothing and as such, it means that with material items, even ideas require basic building blocks from which an idea can be created. His detailed writings of the Default Mode Network and how transderivational searches are performed to recall events that provide those materials are also fascinating.

I continually relisten to this book as every listen reveals new insights. Event Paul Schmidt's narration seems as if it is Ingo himself reading the book and the topics covered truly reveal patterns that people who are searching can easily detect within their lives. Ingo was a prolific producer of information. I wish it received more attention and that more people were developing their Psychic Literacy.

I am a big fan of Gary in all things esoterica and beyond. I have enjoyed his lectures available on Amazon as well as 4 of his books thus far but I believe that he continued for too long on the list of chance happenings that at one point, caused me to lose interest. He mentioned ESP and other patterns of perception as well as authors in the space but he did not even mention Ingo Swann who was bar none the top researcher and practitioner in the space with numerous books on space.

I left a review of just "okay" because I was not able to push on through the 5 remaining hours while recognizing that better material may have lay past my point of departure.

Thank you, Philip F, for the book. It exactly hit the spot. Having been a cannabis smoker for nearly 40 years, an NLP practitioner, and a product developer/designer, I use cannabis to "Think Differently." Your explanations of the DMN and the trans-derivational searches, combined with the descriptive words used in expressing the power of cannabis as a tool, gave me words to express my thoughts as well. Thank you

I truly appreciated the book as it provided answers and explanations to things I have seen, ideas I have contemplated, and questions I am now considering. I am a cannabis smoker and an NLP practitioner, and I would hike while listening. I've heard it three times so thus far. While dense at times (thus requiring multiple sessions), I could dream away from more challenging topics to imagine what was just spoken while coming back at other times when a specific topic or word resonates. Thank you for the time and energy you put into the work.
