I absolutely adored the book. I looked forward to every chapter. It's the best autobiography I've ever read.

Cliche but I loved it

I enjoyed this book and it was a lot of fun. It could be a little cliche at times, but what can you expect from a romance novel? I'll definitely be listening to the next book in the series!

GREAT QUALITY AND A GREAT MAN!

I was blown away by Ronald Reagan's speech and the sound quality in which it was delivered. I definitely recommend to any lover of history to give it a listen.

Cute cheesy love mystery

This book was such a fun break from reality. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters, who seemed relatable despite the crazy concept of the book with two people falling in love after a few days. Yes, it's one of those cheesy romances but I loved it.

However, I wasn't a fan of the narrator. During the first chapter, I almost gave up on the book because of it but I'm glad I didn't. Yet, the narrator mispronounced "ornery" about 6 or 7 times. That was probably the most annoying part of the book.

Overall, I loved the story and it was very fun. It had mystery and romance. It left me with a big smile on my face.

A FUN AND FLIRTY ROMANCE

I LOVED Wanderlust. Lauren Blakely is a terrific writer, actually one of my favorites. In Wanderlust, I liked the buildup and development that she gave the characters as individuals before they came together. Griffin and Joy both had distinct qualities that I could relate to. The book touches on love and loss. It has just the right amount of emotional content with a mixture of fun. Wanderlust made me feel like I was walking down the streets of Paris with the characters.

The narrators were relatively good but I didn't really think the male's voice was distinctly British (as he is supposed to be).

Overall, I enjoyed Wanderlust immensely and will definitely be listening to another Lauren Blakely book sometime soon.

Had potential but....not a fan

It had potential and had good moments but almost some moments where I felt sad and sick to my stomach.

I enjoyed the beginning of this book but it just continued to go more and more down hill as I listened.

1) there is graphic details about the kidnapping and r*pe of a young boy by a serial killer. I felt sick to my stomach listening to it at some points.
2)Anyone with any trauma or abuse background should NOT listen to this book because it could be highly triggering. In my opinion, it is too much graphic detail for anyone.

3) the kidnapping had nothing to do with the other storyline. It would have been good if the author had just kept it solely about a rockstar dating a unknown college student.

4) the story began to drag on and there was pointless obstacles that started to arise in the end. And it even got so bad that I had to skip to the last few chapters because I couldn't stand listening to the book anymore but wanted to know the outcome.

5) Also, the story about the rockstar meeting an unknown girl seemed like the writer was just trying to live out her fantasy by writing and was not realistic.

6)The book could also have benefited from a lot of editing. I think it could have been a good book if it had a good editor.

7) The female narrator was good but I was not a fan of the male narrator.

in conclusion, I do not recommend this book. Especially to people with any trauma background.

Very interesting!

I had to read this for a class of mine and it's been very interesting. I have learned a lot. I recommend for any person in the Communication or Marketing field but it is applicable for everyone. I listened to it on a road trip and my parents really enjoyed listening with me.

The narrator is very good.

I'm actually sad for the book to have ended because I enjoyed it so much

A fairytale

This book was cute and a great escape but highly unrealistic (even more than most romance books). However, it made me laugh and smile many times despite it's corniness. Also, it has A LOT of sex. Like 10 straight chapters of mostly sex. So if you're looking for a pure romance, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a little fantasy, this is your book.

Cute but very problematic in various ways

The beginning storyline was cute but it began to drag on after the author repeatedly added new plots when the book could have already finished. It would have been better if it was a little shorter and she had used other plots in a separate book.

Secondly, there is a large amount of content surrounding sexual abuse. Two women and two men are sexually attacked. Then the people who attacked them never received any punishment. The women just pushed aside their valid feelings about being almost raped and never told any authorities about it when it would have made sense for them to do that. If you are sensitive to that topic, I would listen with caution because that topic is repeatedly brought up.

A feel-good novel!

I loved it! I liked and related to all of the characters. It was a cute romance with lots of happy moments. There was some unneeded angst that most stories have for a plot but it was all over a feel good novel. I will definitely listen to more from this author again!

However, it was sometimes hard to tell when it was a male versus female speaking. The narrator could continue working on her male voice some more.

But in general, it was a good listen.
